I absolutely love this school! My child has been going here for almost a year and her social skills have improved significantly. Staff here are amazing, patient and knowledgeable. They really care about the children, the Director is awesome she is really dedicated, helpful and kind! I am always greeted with a smile. I can't express my appreciation enough for them and what they do! Thanks so much!!

My nephew and niece attended kindercare. My nephew came home several times with injuries, particularly to his arms. Bruises that looked like hand prints. He told me which teacher hurt him. The teacher told me that he was a "disruptive" child, but did not explain his injuries. I took him to a doctor and confirmed the injuries. The Manager "expelled" him from the daycare. I have since contacted authorities. DO NOT send your children here. They are NOT SAFE.

Matteson KinderCare is great! I have three kids that go there, my oldest has been going there for about 4 or 5 years now. They care so much for my kids and make sure that I’m comfortable with everything going on and that I’m aware! The staff take their time and actually teach the kids things parents may not have time to do at home. I’m so appreciative of them & all they’ve done for my kids! THANK YOU MATTESON KINDERCARE!!

I am giving this daycare 1 star only because I thought the teachers were ok. But the administration was absolutely terrible. Maria and Shante are incompetent and unprofessional. They bullied me and my three year old son. Never followed KinderCare policy or procedures— they harassed me to do their job with my son when I was at work and in the hospital and then told me he was the reason their staff wanted to quit their jobs! I could go on abt their inept ability to do their jobs. But you would need to see it for yourself. My Child came home with nail marks on his underarm— with skin broken TWICE and when I raised the issue with Maria she did nothing and the Director of learning accused me of making it all up. I had to address these allegations because I am mandated by DCFS to do so. So the audacity of this woman to accuse me of such a callous action. Anyway- make sure you document and check your child. I question whether they the leadershop is equipped to provide the safest environment for the children.

This center is managed by an incompetent and unprofessional center directo, assistant director and corporate director is learning. this is a child care service and caring for your child is the last priority. My son came home on two occasions with broken skin that looked like nail marks that were bleeding. I addressed this with the center director as I am mandated to do by DCFS and nothing was done to address this by KinderCare- in fact the Director of learning told me I made it up because my son was a behavioral challenge and "to do what I needed to do" because they are a private company and they have the right to refuse service to my foster children. As a mom I want to warn everyone abt the leadership at Kindercare matteson they make it impossible for the teachers to keep your children safe and they are disrespectful and unprofessional to working parents that want to protect their kids.

Hi, I am a concerned parent.This kindercare has been canceling field trips for these kids. The parents keep paying money for these field trips that is never going to happen. Kids are supposed to have fun on field trips and not being stranded at the daycare. Their summer break is almost over, and the only main field trip they been to was the splash pad. It's really nothing for them. They should have fun before school starts. This needs to change.- Thank you

There is a very rude and disrespectful teacher there, that has favoritism and is smart and unfair with the kids there. There is also a kid that calls the kids inappropriate words and does not get in trouble but the kids do when they yell at her. This kindercare is unfair in someways and needs improvement.

I initially passed on the opportunity to try Kindercare when choosing a daycare for my son. I have two grown sons that never went to daycare as toddlers so I had no idea how to choose. I didn't think that he would get the attention I wanted him to have. So I went with another facility. But when Covid shut it down I looker to Kindercare because they were open in Matteson for essential workers. Although the circumstances are not the best, I am happy we are now a Kindercare family. Not that our old facility wasn't awesome, because they are. We chose yo stay with Kindercare. I love the pics and daily reports! Its so convenient! I find the teachers to be engaged and as far as I can tell, treat my son very well... He is always happy and smiling. My little guy means everything to me, and I feel they are doing a very good job. He's really coming out of his shell, and he's gotten a lot better with talking instead of just crying.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN YOU WOULDNT LEAVE THEM HERE FOR A SECOND! This is one of the worst daycares in Matteson, IL. It is very over populated, meaning when you walk through the door you’ll 9/10 be stepping on children. It is that full, no lie. The old director Ms. Dee Dee was very nice, but the facility is run terribly. I’ve visited other Kindercares in the surrounding areas expecting to see the same conditions, NO! The facilities are much nicer, they have separate classrooms for each level with actual doors that close. Unlike Matteson KC where they literally have an open space and some may have short gates that other kids can definitely open and some may not. And of course they want you to pay for this terrible treatment of your children. My issue was over summer when I was given a balance by the old director and a new balance by the new director. I took my children out of the summer camp after roughly 1 week. I felt like my balance should have been prorated, they did not. I have had my children in this daycare twice with approximately a 5 year gap. The last time I enrolled them I was hoping that it had gotten better but it got worse, how that’s even possible I don’t know. The first time I enrolled my children my 2 year old daughter at the time was being taunted by a “teacher” I know for a fact because I walked in and heard her with my own ears. My daughter was very shy and timid as she’d never been to daycare before and the “teacher” was teasing her saying” what’s wrong with you now? I said go wash your hands” I asked her what she said and she immediately changed her tone and demeanor and said “oh I wash just telling her to wash her hands” that was my children’s last day. 5 years later my youngest son was 3 and when I went to pick him up he had a huge scratch on his face and when I asked the “teachers” who looked to be 16 and on their phones, they shrugged their shoulders. Yes, no words. Just shrugged. That was again their last day.

Kindercare in matteson is such a great daycare. The staff truly care about my son. I never have to worry about whether or not my son is in good hands. The directors are great the teachers are great and the center is well put together.

Kindercare in Matteson is the best! My baby feels so comfortable there. He originally started at the Kindercare located in Country Club Hills but he wasn't as cofortable or had nearly as much excitement going to daycare until he went to the location in Matteson! His favorite teacher is Ms. Emily! You guys are all awesome!

Love this center! My daughter has been attending here since she was 6 weeks old. She’s now 4 & will be leaving to attend kindergarten in the fall. She loves going here!
