“I'f your looking for great nutrition for your dog or cat this is the pet store for you! If your dog is having health issues it's usually the food and good food is the best prevention for trips to the vet. Ask for Cameron he is super knowledgeable and patient when explaining the difference in dog food.”
“Our backyard is home to beautiful cardinals, blue jays, starlings, and even woodpeckers. My mom enjoys feeding them and takes it very seriously. We feed them the best and most highly nutritious feed and Most Feed Carrie's it. Even though the cost is around $50 a pop, it's worth it as the birds coloring is vibrant and beautiful. We also like purchasing feed here as it's from a small and local business. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. I love this place and will be back soon.”
“I like to support small businesses, and this is one of them. They have all you need for whatever pet you have. They have 40lbs bags of dog food for $19.99. Very old school as they write out receipts. Staff is nice and will call you if a product you want came in. Love this place.”

“I honestly don't understand the bad reviews based on my own personal experience. I have never dealt with the company directly. However, I have seen the results with the food. I have a Doberman who is used to eating home cooked food, but it was just too much work. She is fussy. I have tried all the premium brands and even imported food on Amazon that was not locally available. I literally bought this food out of interest and desperation. I was expecting to dump in the garbage. Was I surprised! She devoured it and has kept devouring it. The vet has commented on her excellent condition and many other dog owners as well. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it. I understand that you are in a highly competitive industry worth billions of $$$. I trust my dog to choose what is best for her. You have a client for life unless to sell to one of the big conglomerates.”
“Always helpful staff. Wonderful assortment of products. I know they do their best to keep the website stock accurate, but it has happened a couple times that I order something for pickup in the store and received a call that they don't have it in stock. It has also happened that the website says it's not in stock, and then I find it on the shelf. Best return policy- if your pet doesn't like the food bring it back for a refund or to exchange with something else.”

Everyone who works there has certifications in nutrition and they’re all soooo so kind! They are always willing to help you out and truly care for the health & well being of your furfamily. For example, we love feeding Steve’s Real Food but, it isn’t something they keep in store so they special order it for us and other customers who’ve requested it. Their staff, atmosphere, and everything about them is truly wonderful and I wish I could give 10 stars, because they deserve it ⭐️”

“GREAT SERVICE! I walked in with my young son just to look and walked out with some fish for his tank. They answered ALL of his questions, and there were manyyyy. They were attentive and treated him with respect. I loved the way they treated him so much that we walked out with several fish, snails and food. We are both excited to go back!”

“I wish I had more time and energy to spend at Elsa nursery, because they have the most unique gifts in the atmosphere is just so magical. Especially at Christmas, you can go in and just feel like you're in a movie with beautifully decorated trees, music, and even the smell of Christmas trees. I really love their pet section as well, and I buy all of my greenery for winter and all of my plants for summer here. I've lived here since 2005 and have not missed a single Christmas walking through Alsip Nursery. Remember it next time you looking for a unique gift that you can't find anywhere else. There's always a lot of staff available to help out, so it helps to feel like, you're cared for while you're shopping.”

“a solid store with solid staff! went in with my nephew to look for a fish tank for him and the staff let us try out just about every one until we found the right fit! also appreciated being able to play with the ferrets. funny little creatures they are. once we found out the right tank for my nephew we had no problem getting it home and setting it up for my nephew to use. really nice store with really lovey people”

We now have a Rottie and I called to bring her in and Sandy gave me some helpful information.They are not only in it for the business. She saved my new dog from a potential hazard. “I have a dog that has diabetes and I had my prescription for medical food from my vet, but for your competitor. I am disappointed that with this prescription in hand I couldn't purchase food for my dog. I would make more purchases from your location because it's closer to me.”

“I’m not from here and I can say I LOVE this PetSmart ! Out of all the ones I’ve went to I will definitely be driving 40 mins to this location , I have 6 leopard geckos and they take care of the animals; yes the tank is small but it’s well fix ! I wanted to buy something in the tanks witch was a moist spot & was told the manager brought it from else where the fact you did that was amazing bekuz a lot of places I’ve been to they don’t care as much it’s well showed they took there time in each closure !”
