Pharmacy tech female said that my prescription wasn’t filled then said that the text message that it was ready was wrong when I asked why fill one of the meds from er and not the other she said oh well it doesn’t have any refills and I need to get ahold of er to get another one then when I question that because if it hasn’t been filled then there is still a fill on the script. she comes off hold with oh 1 bag had 2 bottles n it not one and then lied and said she got the order out to my partner well if u had none of the before stuff should or would have been said and when I said okay when he gets home I’ll see if it’s not I’ll call back she hung up on me and when I called back the male pharmacist said I was yelling at her and he could hear(cool then u heard the rest of convo too right? but you didn’t cause she very obviously didn’t tell me it had already been filled until the end of the call after she put me on hold after I questioned all the other excuses she pulled out of her hat) so why the other questions if she led with that why would her telling me that some number meant it hadn’t been filled or why tell me to contact er n have them send it again if she led with it’s filled and she definitely would not have say the automated text was wrong cause it would have been correct if she had said it was filled right? . I wasn’t yelling my voice might have gotten louder as I was trying to figure out what the tech was smoking. But that isn’t yelling my yell is ear piercing thank you. It’s called being drug around n a circle when I have been sick for 8 days haven’t been able to eat I need those meds because I’ve lost 5 pounds n a week. But anyways he said I needed grow up and apologize and that I obviously wasn’t that sick because I didn’t pick them up earlier n the day (mind u no food finally got fluids n er from 6 to 1130 last night. so I’ve been passing out im sure no one wants me driving )he also said if I didn’t have a question about my meds he was done talking cause he was to busy. And that when asked if n all the years I’ve been a patient if I’ve ever given anyone grief he said no so I asked why he wouldn’t let me explain what happened and why would I be upset if I was told it was filled ? he kept repeating I need to apologize and told if I didn’t like it I could switch pharmacies. Said my partner apologized why couldn’t I ? i was on the phone with my partner as he pulled up there cause female tech had me upset and he never apologized so lie number idk at this point. I hung up because it was very clear nothing I said mattered only what female tech said. Called their feedback line and promptly switched pharmacies. Good riddance it doesn’t take sherlock holmes to find all the holes in their version of events and how they are just covering themselves very shittly I might add and trying to gaslight a patient. It might have worked if I had less than two brain cells to rub together. All 3 ppl n my home switched to Walmart. I don’t suggest this place to anyone after this. No one deserves this treatment. And I’m the 3rd person n two months to have n issue with a rude female tech. U have under 3 stars on here but under 2 on Fb I wonder why ?

After decades of patronage at the pharmacy, my family and I have moved to another one because of the lack of professionalism and the disrespect shown by one of the young, female pharmacy technicians. The experiences at this location have been bad enough to warrant this, unfortunately. I now understand why CVS is losing customers and why this location probably has under 3 stars.

I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE WAY THE PHARMACY TECH SPOKE TO ME ON THE PHONE. EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! SHE SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!NEVER HAS A TECH STARTED ARGUING AND YELLING. OMFG!!!

Went to pick up my meds after I left the hospital. The hours online said they would be open. When I got there it looks like the manager crossed out the hours online and wrote in new shorter hours. So, basically I didn't get my medicine due to misrepresentation of pharmaceutical services, thanks.

Seems like a decent location as CVS stores go. I really only came for the alcohol and found that they had a large selection.

Great pharmacist to talk too. I have an allergy problem that he helped with. He pointed me in the right direction. He listened to me and sent the message to my doctor. My blood pressure was super high and other doctors were concerned that I might have a heart attack or a stroke. He explained what was in the pills so I can get my doctor to understand easier. I was supposed to have one talk to in the hospital but never got too. He saved me a lot of headache and I appreciate that the most. Great customer service on a complicated matter. Wish doctors took the time to figure things out.

Changed from Walgreens to CVS today. Mattoon is the most skilled and organized pharmacy there is. Came in to get humalog filled was filled in less than 5 minutes without notice. Every single employee knew there job and exceeded expectations. Drive up was backed up when I left building it was empty. Would recommend then to everyone.

The Mattoon Illinois CVS pharmacy’s manager was so rude. He actually called me back to ask if I hung up on him. He told me did you not hear me? Then be quiet and listen. I told him I am hanging up now and not listening to your verbal abuse.

Most poorly stocked store I've ever been too. I do Instacart and went in to shop over a $100 order. Left with $48 worth of merchandise. Third time out of 3 that this has been the situation. No help from the staff finding items either. What's up with the ice cream freezer? For the last 2 months I've instacarted, there's a huge block of ice coming down from the roof of the inside of the freezer and many of the ice cream containers are frozen together in a large block of ice. I've quit doing CVS shops because my earnings take too much of a hit when out of stock items reduce them to a few bucks. I don't need the helps attitude either.

You know when you opt to be a UPS DROP OFF LOCATION and a customer comes into pick up a UPS PACKAGE it be REALLY GREAT if you actually looked for the package that said IT WAS DELIVERED instead of saying " I don't know what to tell you it's not here take it up with UPS" and then I waste time calling UPS only for them to tell me yes it was definitely DELIVERED then waste more time to go back in and tell them yes it was delivered and can you please LOOK FOR IT and to get major DRAMA from the cashier JUNE that could care less about customer service and OH LOOK THERE YOU DO HAVE MY PACKAGE YOU JUST DIDN'T BOTHER TO ACTUALLY LOOK FOR IT JUNE! DO YOU JOB BETTER JUNE! Don't worry I won't bother using CVS for UPS delivery anymore because this happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.I'll stick with WALGREENS FOR MY OTHER PHARMACY NEEDS AS WELL UNTIL MANAGEMENT KNOWS HOW TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF.
