My cousin banks here and I was her translator because English is her second language. She had deposited $300 via the teller, which by the way is the assistant manager. They told my cousin that she would need to wait until they conduct an investigation on the other person’s account to which they made the deposit. The employees are unprofessional, I asked if there was a manager and the employee said “we don’t have a manager” to then tell me that the teller who performed this transaction was the assistant manager. I ended up asking her to give me the regional managers information, which she asked another teller bc she didn’t know who the regional manager was but now somehow the regional manager was in a meeting with the branch manager that you initially “didn’t have”.This branch has also not helped my cousin with a $1200 check she deposited and has yet to appear in her account. First Mid Bank has unprofessional employees that lack training and management that lacks accountability. I’ll be sure to contact the regional manager, Bailey Swanson and share my experience. As someone who has worked in banking for over 5 years, please do better by your customers.

The bankers are friendly and nice people who working there and I never have no problem.

This is THE WORST bank to bank with. I will never have an account here ever again and I will make sure none of my friends or family do either. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
