My insurance broker here allowed my insurance policy to be cancelled without ever notifying me. When I discussed this with the broker, they had no sense of urgency or ability to resolve the issue. I quickly switched to a different insurance broker who solved the problem within an hour and got me a new policy. The new policy was even a lower price. I have since moved all my policies from here to the new broker.

This company has been good for many years. I think they have undergone some ownership changes because it has been more difficult to get responses. Recently after a divorce we needed to separate our policies and the new offer for my policy no longer connected to my spouse was a huge price increase. I was told it was the best available. I shopped around with another agent and was able to get a much better deal so unfortunately, my time with this agent is now over. I wish I could say it was a better experience but the email response times were slow and email responses were abrupt and without a lot of detail. While they may be good for others, I prefer a more detailed and conversational response to my questions.

We use First Mid for business and personal insurance and couldn't be happier! Great service and great pricing. We always get that personal, local touch that you may not get from some of the larger and online insurance companies. I highly recommend you let them quote your policies and save you money!

Went with this company because they had lower rates and they assured me that if the premiums rose by $100 they would look into things. Well after 1 year my premium rose $800 (having no claims or tickets). When I called about it, they said they were sorry but that was the best they could do. Don't waste your time. Went elsewhere and found more coverage for a lower rate so they couldn't have looked too hard.
