Our dogs love to stay at this kennel. They treat the dogs like they are their own. Rates are decent as well.

This is the only place I will take my dogs when I go somewhere. I have always not enjoyed boarding my dogs, but I can honestly go on vacation and not stress about my dogs because I trust them here 100%. I love every single thing about this place. Great place to bring German shepherds, too!

Great place to kennel your dogs! Been using this kennel for about 3 years now and been bringing my two dogs here. Great prices and multi dog deals also! The lady who runs it is very very nice. Always remembers the dog's name personally and always has a good conversation to have. Totally recommend you try yourself and see!

K-9 estates is more than just a boarding kennel. They also are a trying facility also. The owners are very friendly and love and care for your Fur-family. They are very affordable and do an awesome job.

Beware of this facility and the owner. I am shocked and horrified of the condition of the kennel and Zoey after picking her up from there. She stayed 6 nights. I left her with a blanket, a pillow, her favorite stuffed toy, treats and a full (20lbs) bag of food. When I arrived this morning to pick her up, the bag of food was half way used but the owner stated Zoey didn’t eat much at all the entire stay and would only eat the treats, yet half the bag was used… (the bowls are secured in the door of each kennel so it wasn’t like they were knocked over and refilled). Zoey’s belongings were saturated in urine. The owner put the soaking wet belongings in a bag and said that the kennel has recently been washed, but these item’s reeked of urine. Zoey also reeked of urine and was soaked from her chest down. Due to Zoey being soaked and the floor wet, Zoey slipped and fell several times on their concrete floor and the tile floor in office. The owner laughed and said “how cute” and did not acknowledge the pain and struggle for Zoey nor did she acknowledge when I voiced my concern for a towel to dry Zoey first. The owner would not take any blame nor did she act as if she had done anything wrong for how she neglected to care for the facility. After leaving the facility I noticed a small sore under Zoeys nose and sores on both her rear leg’s paw pads. It was clear Zoey had been left to lay in her soiled stall and wet blankets all week. The owner said they put the dogs in the outside portion of the kennel when hosing down the inside section when the dog is allowed to go outside for fresh air time. For how low the temperatures were the last few days - for Zoey to come back inside to a soaked room after being in cold temperatures to lay on a already soiled blanket is disgusting and cruel. I made my reservation the day before leaving on a holiday trip. When I arrived with Zoey on the 28th (December) the owner had no recollection that I had made the appointment, but put Zoey in a stall anyways. I had a gut feeling of concern, but gave her the benefit of the doubt with it being the holidays it may have slipped her mind. Before arriving to pick Zoey up today I called to let them know I am on my way and the owner didn’t know who Zoey was. I found this kennel a few years ago. At that time it seemed like a nice place and area. It is clear this place has gone down hill since then or maybe I was mislead initially.

My boyfriend dropped off our dog before we left for a vacation, because he had seen this facility a few years ago, and it seemed like a nice place at the time. He had called to make a reservation, and when he showed up, the woman he spoke to did not even remember their conversation. He brought food, treats, her toys, and her blanket, but the woman who runs the place acted like they used their own food to feed the dogs even though she told us to bring our food. We called beforehand to let them know we were coming to pick up our dog, and when we told them our dog’s name, she asked us who that was and to describe what she looked like. We had a 40 minute drive to pick her up, and when we arrived, the owner tried to get my boyfriend to check out and pay before she gave him our dog. He insisted on getting her first, as he could hear her barking and whining in the back. When he went back there, the stall was drenched. She was soaked in her own waste and so was her pillow and blanket. It was so dirty and wet in the kennel that our 9 year old dog slipped and slid all over the floor. In response to this the woman laughed and said how cute she was. This was an absolutely disgusting experience, and we will never be bringing any pet to this place again. I recommend you find somewhere else to board your pets, as this was a terrible experience. Between her not remembering our dog, letting her soil herself, and leaving her to sit in a wet pen for days, we are just disgusted.

Left our dog there. We came home a day early and found our dog laying in the bed covered in his own waste. He was trembling uncontrollably. He appeared to not recognize us. We were told that he could/would not come in. Depending on who you talked to. We confronted the owner and employee as to why they had not called the vet. We had signed a permission slip to have him treated if needed. We were told "you would be mad if he did not need treated and so we did not call the vet".

This is an amazing facility and large CLEAN property to train dogs, especially working dogs requiring large areas and tools needed to do the specialized training conducted there. James Sears also offers boarding which is a major bonus for travel needs.

The owner, Jim Sears is a great dog trainer and really good at helping owners understand the fundamentals of dog training. I can't remember the ladies name that this 1 star woman is talking about but she is a very nice woman, and really cares about every dog that walks through the door. Seemed like every time I went to Jim's for a class, she was talking about how much she liked one of the dogs that was temporarily staying there. I had a dog trained out there..and I have also left my dog there over the weekend. The place isn't a brand new modern looking kennel inside.. no.. but they keep them clean, they keep the dogs safe, and they are there 24/7... I would take my dog here any time and feel 100% confident my dog is safe and will come home healthy.

Awful. The lady that ran the place is nice and its cheap. It appears that she is the only one that works there and it is too much for one person. The facility is dirty, the floors were wet both times when i dropped off and picked up. Doors were dirty, old food cans and garbage laying around. It was thanksgiving weekend when I dropped them off, so I thought she was full , but when I picked up all the dogs were still there. I'm thinking that they are all her dogs? By far the worst thing about this place is the smell. I know that kennels smell bad but this is beyond acceptable. I will never take my dogs there again, and to be honest I am shocked they are able to stay open in these conditions.
