EVERYTIME I need to visit my storage unit the staff is ALWAYS GREAT! Especially, Andre! He is ALWAYS helpful, professional and considerate. The facility is ALWAYS clean! I have been a customer for years and I have never had an issue with cleanliness.

This cubesmart location seems to hit some marks but not all i drive past it everyday. And Ive been using this storage for over one year but everytime I come in to my storage unit ive come to terms with the possibility of some renting the units to be living in them ive seen the few times where it looks like the doors were proped open to get into the storage leaving it unsecured and no one around and left as is for a majority of the morning full day or even night past storage hours.
there's a worker I always see trying to keep clean as much as anyone would and could as one person i think its the only upside of this whole review
The units feel damp and ive had water run into my unit once my first week unless it was through whatever the unit next door to me had.
Bugs are definitely a thing but it comes with the thriving of humidity dampness or water from somewhere they have been seen in my storage unit also so if you're storing a bed or anything that can home bugs plastic wrap your furniture and items you dont want them getting into.

HORRIBLE experience at this Maywood CubeSmart. I would NEVER recommend storing anything at this location. I was renting a unit for half a year and my unit was robbed of over $11,000 worth of items one night. I fear that I was being watched through the cameras from the staff or someone who had access to the building because no other units were broken into except mine, they knew exactly which to steal from and how to do it. Someone somehow knew the code to get into the gated main doors, went to my unit, and took all my belongings. I NEVER once told any one of me going to this location and no one knew I had my stuff there so it was an inside job. I filed a police report, the managers/staff were of no help and did not want to cooperate in providing any details or footage of the thieves. This was truly upsetting and there was no way to advance in the robbery report nor get any money back. I trusted this location and I lost so many belongings, my money, and sense of peace. They did nothing to help me or at least make things better, I wish I would have never stored anything at this location and lose over $11,000 in belongings along with the monthly charge I was paying. What is the point of having a security code for the door, cameras, or protection to place your belongings in a storage unit. This was a huge hit to me financially, I lost all of my things, and pretty much got kicked to the curb with no help or explanation. Not even a call from a higher up at CubeSmart or District Manager. The people working here have no sense of compassion to assist someone in who was really in need and lost all their things when I trusted placing my things at this location. STAY AWAY from this Maywood CubeSmart!!
