Done with going to this store. Ace has been my go to for over 45 years. This store in the past few months never has what they are showing on the website as in stock and pick up within an hour. I don't do pick up, I prefer to go into the store. Never have the very basic things I needed so I go to home depot or True-value and they always have those daily needed maintenance things. So at this point ACE can shove my rewards membership. Will not go there again. Total waste of time & fuel. What was once a shinning business is now just doing the bait and switch game to get you in the store.

Jacob in the service department did an amazing job fabricating sheet metal clips for my birdcage. He was so polite and patient and gosh was he fast!
I can't say enough for the Ace Hardware in McHenry. it's one of the few places you can go and still get awesome customer service When they say it's the place with the helpful hardware man they're not kidding

was very disappointed with store management. I have rented carpet cleaner 11 times from them and on my last rental was berated by manager for not cleaning unit. I cleaned what a did the last 10 times but got charged this time. Good that Meijer carries the Bissell system. WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!
