Home Depot always has helpful and knowledgeable employees that make our shopping enjoyable. Prices are fair and the store is always stocked, clean, and organized.

I went to the McHenry Home Depot to get a battery for my Toro Zero Turn tractor that I purchased from there a few years ago. The sales clerk working in the area of the lawn tractors was not helpful at all. I asked for a reference guide to see what type of battery I needed and she said they didn't have one and to just go get my old battery and bring it in to see if they had a compatible one. I asked why they don't have Toro parts and she said because they don't carry Toro tractors anymore. When I went to the car to get my old battery I noticed a whole line of Toro Zero Turn tractors outside of the store for sale. I returned to find a compatible battery by myself. I purchased it in the garden center because I need some fertilizer and the cashier told me I need to go back inside to the service area to get my 15.00 credit for the old battery. You should train your clerks to know what they sell and carry parts for the products you sell. Not a great experience.

The Home Depot has stopped doing the 11% rebate match, that used to match¹,,mĥþþĝ their competitor's offers. Home Depot claims that their competitors increase their prices to cover the 11%. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The same exact items are the same exact price, or cheaper at other home stores. So Home Depot stopped doing the 11% price match by lying to customers about why they are already cheaper. It's a Lie.

We went there today to buy a refrigerator and the guy that was helping us was not very friendly. Didn't offer us an extended warranty or help us out with it. My brother has a boot on his foot and can't do much. Another employee did help him out to the truck. As I was talking to him about the warranty he said was not even asked about buying one. We were outside talking about this and another employee over heard us talking and asked if she could try to help us. She was on her break and still helped us out. GREAT JOB Heaven!!! Thank you so much for turning it around and making it a good trip.
Heaven needs to be recognized for going above and beyond to help us.

Service department lacked Service.
After I got told not in stock or keeps in stock,and to order at Thier Website..
No offer to Order it for Me and pick up in store.
So Menards is My new Box shop, Don't have to search to far for Assistance with a purchase!
The reason for a store to be successful is Sales.
