I am extremely disappointed with the service that I received from this tax business. The tax specialist assigned to me completely ghosted me after meeting with me and entering my information without completing the process. My emails went unanswered, leaving me in a state of limbo and causing significant stress. This lack of professionalism left me with no choice but to seek help at an H&R Block in Cary, Illinois, where I was treated with top-notch care. I would not recommend this business to anyone and I hope they improve their communication and implement better business practices for future clients.

The original tax preparer filed things incorrectly, which resulted in a correction notice. This is my first time reaching out to H&R Block, and Sean Gahan handled my case and submitted the amendment. It was a difficult process to identify and fix the missing parts, but he did an excellent job finding the actual mistake and correcting it. Sean is very knowledgeable and experienced to work with. He explained everything patiently to me and my spouse. I truly appreciate his hard work in resolving this issue. He deserves a 5-star rating!

DO NOT GO HERE………They are EXTREMELY rude VERY unhelpful & have ZERO business handling/managing taxes or even working in ANY sort of CS oriented business H&R Block PLEASE do better these employees GOTTA GO ESPECIALLY THE OLDER WOMAN AT THE FRONT I FELT LIKE NOTHING BUT AN INCONVENIENCE THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS HERE FOR DOING SOMETHING WE ALL LEGALLY HAVE TO DO THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING & ABSURD ZERO STARS

H&R block is the only place I would go to have my taxes done. They made sure that every deduction I was entitled to I got . They are quick about getting your return done in a timely fashion. They care about the client.

Just use turbo tax online, I went and asked for tax advice and they didn’t tell me anything besides the same thing my w-2s said and charged me $160 for it. Do not use their services.

I’ve filed my taxes here for 2 years now, but for next years I’m definitely going someplace else. Went in sometime in February to file my taxes, I went in recently cause I had some questions & Albena took care of me. She was very unprofessional & rude. I felt she was bothered for the questions I had, she had a bad attitude. Kept raising her voice, didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to make a scene.

I received very poor consultation from this location, subsequently being told that I owed over $6,000 in taxes. I was told that the information I researched to help maintain my hard earned money was inaccurate and that I just "earned too much money" last year. I got a second opinion from a local tax preparer, where I was treated more like a human being rather than a means to a paycheck, and ended up getting thousands of dollars in returns from the government entities that H&R Block said that I owed money to. I saved myself over $6,000 by going somewhere else, and you should too.
