Possibly the worst customer service. If I could rate with negative numbers it would be appropriate. Mis managed, incompetent, and unprofessional. There are other U Haul locations near McHenry that are much better.

Typically good service, but you can't rent a trailer after 6:30 due to a "glitch"??? Just tell me you don't want to rent me the trailer no need to lie directly to me about it.

Normally have great service here to get propane filled. Today rang the bell and 2 different employees just stared at me. Thought maybe I didn’t press button all the way. Pressed it again. They looked at me and both went different directions.

Worst management ever. I paid in cash. Then they charged my card. Then instead of giving me my money back in cash like I paid they are sending it to my card which could take days. Manager showed no sympathy or care and was rude.

The most inefficient U-Haul ever. I had a reservation and waited 20 minutes to have someone wait on us although there were 3 people working there. The gentleman with bushy brown hair was very unprofessional and lacked customer service skills. He took my photo without asking and then when I asked him to remove it, he forgot that he even took the photo. He was clearly 50 cards short of a full deck. The only reason I have 2 stars instead of 1 star was because of Ryan and the check out process, which was smooth and professional. I wish Ryan was the one that checked us in. He was great!!

3 because I actually like the uhaul in mchenry. Id give them a 5, howeved I do not like the uhaul service coordinator out of antioch who over sees reservations for mchenry. I have had many reservations in the last year and when we are officially moving, have movers coming, uhaul calls me less then 24 hrs before pick up to say they cant find a 26' truck. They offered me a 20' that is an hour north when I need a 26' for a move 2 hours south. They didnt care that I have everything set for tomorrow and my reservation was booked 2+ weeks ahead. Thanks for the scramble before the move.

Worked here for a very short time.. if you are looking for a great place to make good money for part time/full time work this is your one way ticket to success. The manager (Kaleb/Caleb) and I mean this genuinely is a great manager. Your treated as a human, they understand if you are new to something and you don’t understand how to do it, I have (I don’t usually disclose this when I come to new jobs due to fear of being made fun of etc..) Asperger’s syndrome and I’m very slow to certain things when it comes to learning them.. he took the extra time, energy, and even the compassion to help train me. Caleb? If you see this this beer tonight is to you and thank you again for providing this experience for me. I wish you and the company best of luck. Awful service. The manager(who was at the front desk today) didn’t want to rent me a small towing trailer. He didn’t care that I’ve already rent the same trailer at the same office 3 times, he just told me that he don’t like my driving licence. I think this man shouldn’t work in client-oriented company. We have shown him 3 different driving licences, for the first two he said that there is no expiration date on it (in Ukrainian driving license), for the third driving license(where there is an expiration date) he told that he don’t know if I can tow a trailer with it. I’ll never use U-Haul again. Thank you, manager, you’ve broken my plans for today

Worst customer service experience of my life. The GM of this location is a complete joke.Do yourself a favor and use a different location. Shame on uhaul for letting people like that represent their company.
