I was having the worst time setting up my new device. Extremely irritating how these devices need to be set up. I was so over trying to speak to someone over the phone I went into the Verizon Mchenry location was greeted right away and he definitely seen my frustration. He got my phone all set up within 10 mins I was out of there. Really wished I remembered his name I think it was James but unsure. Anyways whoever this lovey man is deserves some praise. I was ready to completely switch phone services because of this. But because this man was so great I have decided to keep paying the ridiculous price we pay to be sure we continue to receive this type of service.

Good job Guys to the American Fellows at Verizon in Mchenry IL
I spoke with 18 Reps and got Absolutely Nowhere, finally I went to this store and theses guys were awesome! Thank you.
Every rep I spoke with prior was a foreign operator that kept pushing me off! Customer Service is Key to Excellence and I feel being a New Verizon customer that this quality is not there best online!
Honestly if you want a problem solved go to this store!

Well, my day felt and began like it was 'just one of those days.' I was unsure how my visit to the local McHenry Verizon Store would go. Fortunately, I had a wonderful young man named, Austin helping me. My cell phone was so old, I had to use headphones to answer my phone calls. I brought my family along, because it turned out we all need upgrades. Austin was informative and knowledgeable. My family felt very welcomed and each of us interacted with him. At times we were challenging with questions, but he was a trooper and very funny. At one point I felt like I was swinging from the light fixtures or did that happen? Anyway, definitely visit the store and meet Austin. I do have to give a shout out to Jimmy another great employee at Verizon. He spent time assisting and entertaining my family, blending in nicely. These guys deserve Starbucks!! So if you are in the area stop by and say hello to these guys. Our phones by the way are awesome and work beautifully!!

When I visited Verizon in McHenry,I was very lucky to be served by Jimmy, one of the best customer service people I have ever met. Jimmy addressed all my problems and was knowledgeable, efficient, supportive, patient and kind. Thank you Jimmy!

If you need anything from Verizon in Mchenry you need to see Jimmy! He is the absolute best and was very kind and helpful during a stressful situation when my phone broke. Jimmy went above and beyond to help his custom and you don't see that often. Thank you so much Jimmy for your days of support and help I literally could not have done all this without you!

I went today to get a new phone because I have been saving up all year for it, the customer service made my time there super enjoyable. Everyone there was so kind, sweet, and easy to talk to. I was able to joke around with staff too, it felt very safe to be there. Haris was a big help in making my new phone experience exciting and easy. I highly recommend trying to get Haris to help you.

Check-in staff (Matt) is confrontational and attempted to defer me to call into Verizon Customer Servive instead of answering my simple question over a Verison promotion. Other staff members were friendly and helpful. I watch this same employee (Matt) belittle and push off other customers while I waited for assistance. Between customers he rushed into the back room to hide. He was not there to greet customers as they walked in.

Austin was fantastic about helping me out of a frustration situation between Google, Asurion, Verizon 1-800 call center. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and he was extremely understanding!
