The items here are just ok if you need a quick outfit...but the manager's personality will keep me away. She was standoffish while ringing me up today. The other cashier that normally rings me up is very pleasant. Plenty of stores in that plaza with better customer service and quality clothing that I don't mind spending my money at.

So I went in city trends and brought some clothes for my nephew the black baldhead disrespectful lady name Dee forgot too take the sensor off one of the outfits and when I went back to ask her too remove it. She told me no and she basically accused me of stealing after I showed her my receipt. This lady is rude as hell. Idk how she still work for this Company. I literally had too curse her out . I ended up getting helped by a Hispanic girl. She got a problem with everybody that come in there. I’m calling corporate on her Mondays and I will not be shopping in there every again.

My least favorite store is citi trends because the clothes there are tacky and not made with good material. The customer service is always aggressive and not welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend coming here

Today around 4 PM I stopped in there to grab a basic white T-shirt because the one that I had got dirty while I was eating. Had my 10-year-old daughter with me I had a T-shirt in my hand and we were looking through the girls dresses For my daughters size… A hanger fell as they often do off of racks. The black woman there by the name of Dee, Asked me where did the clothes that was on the hanger go? I told her I’m not sure it just fell so I was shaking the rack trying to find whatever it was fall out….. Nothing Fell. She then proceeded to tell her coworker to call security. When I heard her say that I was highly confused so I asked her “call security for what ma’am?” She pretty much was accusing me of shoplifting. Which made me very furious I had it taken anything. The hanger just fell. So then I tell her you know what never mind and I put everything I was about to buy back. I went to the door and I waited for security to arrive, I placed my purse on a table and opened it and told him I gave him permission to go through my purse to check it

I went into the store tonight Saturday 2/24 I needed assistance looking for an outfit I look up front and I see an older Asian lady I think a manager and 2 young short girls all huddled up and the front playing catch with something laughing I tried to get their attention for help and they didn’t care I then went up after I finished my shopping apx 30 mins later no one was up and Front I look around and see the 3 girls all huddled up in the back corner talking not paying attention that I was ready to check out I left my things at the counter and walked out! The store manager needs to adress this happening I never seen a store be so unprofessional and unwilling to help customers

They gave me a gift card for the purchase I returned since I didn't have a receipt, and when I went to use it, the card said it had no money and the account was closed! They stole my money! I'm just glad it wasn't much. So everyone always make sure you have your receipt for this store when you want to return your items and get your money back!

Hello my name is Raquel I went to city trends in Melrose park with my granddaughter and daughter on Friday. I went there to get some stuff for my grandson and a few other things. From the start my granddaughter who is only 13 years old had some rude bump ins with I think was the manager short hair AA lady. As you may know teens happen to go wonder off happily to see what they can find. My granddaughter saw a deal on undergarments and decided to grab some the Lady with the short hair she said kept following her around when my granddaughter found what she wanted the employee told her she will grabbed the underwear and put in the front then my granddaughter came by us and said Grandma I got a deal on underwear and didn't say nothing went on by the socks. She came by us after finding another deal grandma do I need socks with socks in hand. I turned to her and told her no we already had brought socks and didn't need any. So she happily walked over and put socks back. I looked right at her as I wasn't to far away. by the time she turned around two women the short hair lady and I believe the other lady was named Linda were upon my granddaughter asking her what she did with the socks and where are they. I don't think they knew we were together but Now I got irritated because we don't steal at all. We work hard for everything we got. I went there to buy stuff not steal anything. My granddaughter was highly upset. And didn't understand why they treated her like that. I started telling the lady hey she is a minor what are you doing. She didn't take anything at all. Because I saw when my granddaughter placed the socks back.only thing she is guilty of is having her cell phone in her hand. And checking it from time to time. And putting it in her hoodie. Look I understand robbing is happening and maybe she thought she was a thief because she wrongly profiled her from the beginning. I had walked out so mad didn't want to shop there. But I so needed all the stuff I wanted to buy. So before snapping on the employees I left out without buying anything.I'm raising my 5 grandchildren and I was looking for a bargain. So I knew I so needed the stuff I left behind. I swallowed my pride and still went back inside after calming down. I spent almost $100.00 with City trends. Just was so upset to hear not only did the women messed with her in the underwear dept but also the socks. After I started telling her well she didn't take anything why would you think she took the socks that cost $2.95 why would a teen take a pair of socks. She is not a thief not one apology for the employees finding the socks. I love shopping at city trends but how can I ever go back to that place when I felt so disappointed, and disrespected. The employee couldn't even say a word when she found the socks. Like an apology would of been nice instead of rudly walking away while embarrassing us in front of others. I don't know who I need to tell this too but this was wrong of her to do. She can't be wrongly profiling people just because. the front was with no one in the front the whole time because she was busy chasing after someone who wasn't stealing at all. Thank you for your time. But she is just to much. Not everyone is a thief I'm struggling raising my 5 grandkids and I wouldn't steal if I needed too.

This store is terrible. My first and last time stepping foot in there. The lady at the front grabbed my shopping bags from me and my drink. Keep in mind this store is in a plaza. Of course I'm going to have bags from other stores i purchased items from. I did not feel comfortable having my bags confiscated from some store worker. Poor customer service. Hope this place goes out of business.
