Drove to this places saw a gentleman in the lot walkin in to the office, got of the car wondering to see if I see anyone around nothing it was a black ladie seating in a car smoking she didn't boder to call or direct me and another guy with n rv waiting decide to walk in the office and there is a hispanic guy playing on his phone I ask him and then he il be right there ,fill up my tank gave mi papers and tell me go back to the office , walk in there I say hello no one came out I wait for 8 min look out side same black ladie was out side was the one came inside and charge me she took her sweet time smoke her cigarette then walk inside I guess first and last time going here

This place has some of the worst service ever. Victor who does the refills has been so rude we cancelled our entire account with them. Do not waste your time or money

Every year they raise the cost of the tank rental. Started out at $60, now it's over $100. Once they hook you they screw you for everything they can get.

Used to have buy 3 get one free. That made them a bit cheaper than others around. Now they'll only give you one stamp per visit, no matter how many tanks you fill. So you have to visit during limited weekday hours three times to get the deal, which isn't worth it unless you live or work very close.The last two times I went, I also had to wait--10 minutes once and 20 minutes the next--for the filler to meet me in the office to pay even as other employees were in the office. When he finally walked in, he was carrying a pizza, which apparently he had gotten in between filling my tanks and making his way to the office to let me pay.Without the deal, I won't be visiting again. Not worth the time.

I did not know I could get my propain cylinder refilled there. It was so easy, freindly service aswell. They also re-certify your propain tank. So much cheaper than tank exchange at retail stores.

The hours listed may say 24 hrs, m-f. This is not accurate. The Melrose Park location is open to walk in customers 8:00-4:00, Monday through Friday; FERRELLGAS offers service 24hours a day, every day, but you must call the 1-800 number to make arrangements after hours.

After camping, I always refill the LP at Ferrellgas. They are helpful and quick with good prices.

They hooked me up with a new filler valve. Didn't charge me for it. That was pretty cool of them
