I live at the lake wildwind trailer court were we dont have door to door mailboxes. We have mailboxes about the size of a po box had a package delivered. The shoved it in a the small ass mailbox instead of putting it in one of the 4 boxes next to the mail room. And now the package is stuck in my mailbox

Hate giving this post office, a one star, but there is one lady in particular, who works there, who is always extremely rude and is not very accommodating and that is why my review is one star. I feel like when you have repeat customers you should accommodate for them and not be so rude next time.

they constantly send my packages out of state to be resorted instead of delivering it to my post office 10 min drive away. puts 4 extra days on delivery and being tossed and handled more. usps needs to stop handling packages and stick to junk mail. 2024 we don't need post offices anymore

Hours are terrible. Today again, the mail carrier failed to stop and pick up letters from my box. Flag was up! Of course they're closed right now so I cannot call. them

We love our mail delivery person. He's friendly, thoughtful, and sometimes brings treats for our dog.

Its hit or miss whenever I stop by to drop off outgoing packages for my business that don't fit inside our mailbox. There's a guy in there that is amazing. But some of the ladies I encounter are so slow and start forming a line out the door... then give me rude looks when I cut the line to drop some packages on the counter that are ready to go and I dont need receipts for.I don't understand why they don't have a package drop space like the State Street Peoria location does, that can even be accessed in the lobby after front desk hours ... it'd make life so much easier for some of us that have scales and label printers at home/businesses and want to just drop everything off after the day is over. I mentioned it to the "post master" of Metamora and he told me I could schedule pick ups at my house. That's not really a fix, its just adding more inconvenience to my day. Lol.I've had delivery issues in the past but our current carrier seems good. No complaints there, for now.

The amount of times I've been delivered an empty package, or have been home, not 5 feet from my front door, and they just refuse to even attempt to see if I'm home to sign for something is staggering.

I am a senior citizen and a disabled veteran. I depend on my mail for very obvious reason but yet this post office doesn't seem to be concerned for any of us living in this apartment where most of us are senior citizens, I am not the only one having problems with this post office. I have not recieved any mail for me but yet have someone elses mail in my box. I usually have correspondence with VA, Social Security, MediCare, bank quite often. I was expecting mail last Thursday from VA and bank only to have someone elses mail in my box and no mail for me. Checked bank and letter was mailed a few days ago. Same with VA. This is about the 3rd or fourth time in 18 months. No one knows where my mail is! The imcompetence of the people working in this post office is numbing. I have reported them to VA,Social Security,Medicare and my bank. The only good thing is my medications is being sent via UPS now as it is life threatening for me to be out in winter weather. I just want my mail delivered!

Don’t know what is happening with delivery person. Yesterday my Amazon package was delivered to same house number two streets from mine. Last week several packages on our street were left sitting out on the curb in front of mailboxes and not even at the right addresses. Other times jammed into mailbox with damage.

My mail today, which included 2 packages, was forcibly shoved into my mailbox. One package contained 2 hardback books for my grandsons for Christmas. They are now broken. I have been home all day. They could have been brought to the door. $40 for 2 broken books. Laziness.
