Metropolis Big John Super Str is a friendly, well-stocked grocery store and one-stop shop for a small town. It has a fresh deli, meats, produce, and goods like bread, chips, wine, beer, and spirits. Employees are very willing to help. While some items are noted as overpriced, most prices are fair or okay. The store carries unique items like Alabama Conecuh sausage and jowls. The prepared foods, including macaroni and cheese, string beans, and chicken, are delicious. The iconic big john statue in the parking lot is very cool.

My go-to for my Alabama conecuh sausage. Only place I have found this far north that sells it but you gotta compete with the boats. Not their fault,it's the best sausage Ever
