It was clean, quiet, and great for relaxing, spending the night with lots of driving, and breakfast was great!
Pretty typical for a Hampton: lots of parking, free breakfast, comfortable beds, clean showers.
No more little bottles of shampoo and bars of soap to "take" but the dispenser was more than adequate and smelled good too.
I had a sugar crash, so had to raid the front desk shoppe for an emergency snack. Wasn't cheap but did the job. Only if they had a Whatchamacallit or a Clark bar, but the Hershey's was sufficient. A couple of Cokes also helped. A nice front desk lady was there in the middle of the night to help me pay for the emergency goodies. Thanks!

Great service. Pool and hot tub was perfect for families. Breakfast was amazing! Do you want regular waffles or red velvet? Cereal, oatmeal, eggs, red potatoes, sausage, variety of juices, fruit, muffins and coffee! Great value! Rooms were nice and updated. Mini refrigerator and microwave. Lots of outlets!

We were there for my daughters wedding. Hotel was clean and wonderful. Staff was all very nice. They had free breakfast until 10am. I wish it was a little longer but it was good. Thank you.

I was pretty disappointed at my stay. They had the worse beds to sleep in that I have ever slept on in a hotel. The air did not work. Would set it for 64 and wouldn’t get down past 72. I like it cold when I sleep so that was disappointing. Room was not that clean floor was very dirty in bathroom, tub wasn’t clean, and garbage was still In room. Would not stay here again and would not recommend staying here for anyone else.

Stayed for several days August 2024. This is a nice, well maintained and managed property. The single king/walk-in shower room we had was quite spacious and well appointed and maintained. The few minor issues: The door latch would only work (from the outside) when lifted up, not when pressed down. Oddly, it worked OK from the inside. The bathroom sink drained slowly. There are no towel bars. Room are serviced every other day (unless you need something) so a lack of towel bars to allow towels to dry overnight is ... puzzling. Throw 'em over the shower door I guess; we did. The toilet is NOT ADA height. In fact it seemed low. Considering the aging population this seems like a moderately serious oversight. Also - no grab bars except in the lavatory/sink/closet area where they probably aren't needed. Staff admitted they only had 2 (out of 83) handicap rooms. Nothing badly off really, just minor irritations. The breakfast was served promptly, hot, and more than sufficient. If you need to stay in this area, this hotel would be a good choice.

Hilton Honors Member - We stayed at this hotel twice during our travel to and from Michigan (June 29th and July 5th). The second stay wasn't out of loyalty but convenience of where Minooka is located from our point of destination.
Pro: The hotel is conveniently located off I-80 and has several amenities near by (several restaurants in walking distance, coffee shops, etc.).
Con: The service wasn't typical Hilton quality. It wasn't horrible in the sense of rude staff - more that they were so nonchalant and not engaged. For example:
1. Both visits, they didn't recognize my Hilton status and had to be reminded of the Hilton Honors benefits that were to be provided. Only after being reminded did they provide them. And no apology for forgetting. It was like "oh yeah."
2. On the first visit, the entry doors from the north side did not work. This was reported to the front desk. He was aware of the problem and he noted that they were working on having it fixed. When I mentioned I couldn't access from the pool room door either (literally 5 feet away from the north entrance), he laughed and was like "Oh, you know how it is." FYI, the doors were still not fixed at our second visit (almost a week later).
3. On the first visit, the following morning, I went to get ice out of the ice machine on the first floor but it was busted. I would have asked the breakfast attendant, but she was in no mood to do her job. The lights were still off in the pantry area (this was at 7:30am, breakfast service started at 6:00am) and she hadn't bothered to ensure the hard boiled eggs stayed at the proper temperature (no ice) and no milk was put out. All had to be request. Again, she didn't have an angry or grumpy attitude, it was like "oh, okay, thanks." When I went to the front desk to see where I could get ice, instead of encouraging me to get it from the breakfast room, they told me to go to another floor.
4. On the second visit, the morning of our departure, I went swimming. There were no pool towels. When I went to the front desk to request some, the gal at the desk had to go to the linen closet. When she returned, she handed me a stack of towels and had me deliver them to the pool area myself. The pool area also hadn't been cleaned from the night before (towels, trash, and guest toys were all on the ground). Again, just a nonchalant attitude about ensuring the place stays clean and fresh for each guest.
Our first room, the AC thermostat temperature gauge was not connected to the wall unit. So when we thought we lowered the room temperature (by the wall thermostat), we actually had not. We had to adjust the temp on the wall unit directly. This is fine, but it wouldn't keep the room cool enough to our liking. The second stay, they were connected, so we could make the adjustments on the wall thermostat just fine and it kept the room consistently cool.
Our first room electrical and USB sockets were not installed. There was nothing there (see pictures). Almost like they forgot to properly build out some parts of this room. And for both our stays, the carpet squares were coming up, creating a tripping hazard within the room.
Overall - just not great for Hilton this time around. Because Minooka is a good destination for our travel trips to and from Michigan, I plan to stay at Townplace Suites by Marriot next time - its directly across from this hotel.
Hilton, you need to do better. You need better training. And the maintenance upkeep needs to be improved. The value and price proposition is highly skewed given the dismal service.

Rooms are great, if maybe just a bit outdated. However, there are newer TVs available and generally the rooms are maintened pretty good and feel clean.
Location is great if you are using this hotel just to sleep during a trip. Close to the highway and easy to reach.
Food and drinks available in plentiful nearby and has good amenities like a pool and gym. The gym is not an extensive full size gym and resources are outdated.

Rooms: Room was spacious and clean with modern amenities.
Food and drinks: A few places around (mostly national chains) that are pretty decent.

I don’t know what it is, the rooms looked kind of yellow to me. There was also this smell in the hallway that I can’t quite put my finger on it. However, the rooms looked clean to me, the front desk/ Customer service were courteous, friendly, and approachable. The location was everything that we needed, which was perfect for us. They had breakfast in the morning which We love when we go to hotels. Also, we were hauling our RV connected to our Toyota tundra back home to Connecticut, and there was a spot for us to park her in the back.

Good place to stay for my when in town work, good places to eat nearby.
Only gripe is when I book over the phone as they always want to sell me those travel deals.

The room cleaning service woke me up before 9 am. When i told the girl at the front desk she said she couldnt do anything about it, never even apologized. Then walked off in frustration when i turned around she fliped me off because i quoted the rug which says something like good service means your happiness lol when called the manger later she did nothing also.
Horrible experience would not advise to go here!
