“This is a great hotel. Comfortable & quiet. (You don’t hear the AC unit all night like you do at cheaper hotels) No complaints. The pictures of breakfast that have been posted are a little misleading, so I took a video of the breakfast bar. It’s typical fare, eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee etc.”

“This hotel has a great food option. I've highlighted the waffle bar as this was the first hotel that I have been to with a themed limited time, waffle option and topping combo. The rest of the breakfast food is a standard hotel offering and was great as well. The rooms though were a little lackluster compared to other similar places and brands. The bathroom sink was slightly tilted towards where you stand and felts low compared to a normal height sink. The carpet squares felt almost sticky or tacky and definitely wouldn't recommend being barefoot as it almost feels like you're feeling the residue from them placing it on the ground. As you can see my room had two different squares from where old ones were and new replacements have been put down.”

“Friendly staff, rooms were big and spacious! I wish there was a fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was very yummy, but they need to re-organize their flow of plates, silverware and etc… there is zero flow to it. The plates and silverware should start at one end and not in the middle. This causes alot of confusion for the guests.”

“Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable! Perfect mix - not too firm, not too soft. Large windows for natural light, but also double blinds that black the room out. A huge plus. There was a good assortment and many options for the continental breakfast. There is also a back patio with a fire table that is a true hidden gem. It is partially closed in by landscaping. It was so nice hanging out here and not feeling like you're just sitting in a parking lot. Service was great and quick. Every receptionist we spoke with was wonderful, friendly and attentive.”

“I live in St Louis and have a morning meeting in Chicago. I decided to stay here as it would reduce the stress of the drive the morning of the meeting and it was far less expensive than staying downtown. This is only 1.5 hours from downtown Chicago and there are two different routes to use depending on Chicago traffic. The hotel is good enough. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to access from the highway. The amenities seem to be good. The breakfast was acceptable for the price point. I will return here when I have other meetings in Chicago.”

“We were on I-80 looking for a place to stay for the night. We called several places and found the rates to be way out of reasonable range. Then came the Motel 6 in joliet. The price was $58 plus taxes. We weren't expecting much so when we got to the room we were beyond pleased. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bed comfortable. The Wi-Fi free. The front desk staff friendly and superb. I had some trouble conecting my phone to the Wi-Fi. Saul stopped what he was doing and got me set up in about one minute”

“My Husband and I needed a quiet, Relaxing getaway from the Adult Children in the house,we work hard and wanted a place to go to to have a-little privacy and unwind . We Chose the Clarion and what a wonderful choice it was! From the Friendly Desk clerk , to Housekeeping we were warmly greeted and felt welcome. The Queen bedroom smelled wonderful and was very clean stocked with all the amenities. The Breakfast area was fully stocked and the food fresh and Delicious. Upon checking out we were welcomed back by the front desk clerk . A Lovely experience from check in to Check out. We will return . Thank-you.”

“This hotel was a great step up from another location in Joliet when I was passing through on a road trip. There is a $25 pet fee for my cat (may be higher for dogs) and it seemed easy enough to pay for at check-in. The room was comfortable (for me and my cat) and while there were gaps between the box spring the bed frame, I don't judge the hotel for it given that they aren't explicitly pet-friendly/designed with pets in mind. Check-in went smoothly though seemed a bit terse which is why there isn't a full 5-stars here, but otherwise, the hotel was what I needed and I had great parking for my truck and trailer.”
