This was my 3rd time visiting Magic Nails and Diane always does such a great job! I love her designs and my most recent visit she helped me with the fish idea 🐠 Everyone here is super friendly, I definitely recommend checking them out.

I come here from Joliet because they're super friendly, and do a VERY good job. I've been to many places where my nails chip and break within a week, but the staff at this place takes their time and makes sure they do it right. Love them! They've got a returning customer in me!

I go a few times a year for a pedicure and manicure and usually all is great. Unfortunately, this time around the no-chip manicure barely lasted 1.5 weeks. I had my nails done on a Thursday, flew to Florida the following week Tuesday, and the nail color started to pull off my nails by Thursday. Yes, I was in a pool, however, this is the first time this has ever happened to me where the color didn't last 2 weeks or more for a no-chip. So I'm not sure if maybe the polish was old or if my nails weren't under the light long enough to set the polish. Just wanted to make others aware of the situation.

I have been here... seven or eight times now. Maybe more? Idk. Anywho, I never got my nails done at all before. Like... never. I have never been a girly girl, but I thought it was time to do something about that.
So, on my first visit, I was nervous and didn't want to overstep a boundary of somesort or complain about my nails. I knew very little of any designs or anything, to be honest. I went in, got my manicure and pedicure, and left. I liked how they looked, but I still had to get used to having longer nails. I always cut them short or kept breaking them from doing stupid things at work. Like crushing my finger under a heavy box, or scraping my finger/nail against a sharp stainless steel edge accidentally, etc. However, there was an issue with nail polish chipping, but that was on my toes, and I didn't care about going back to fix them. They are covered by socks and shoes when I go to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. With my schedule going back and forth from mornings to nights, yeah... I wanted to get more sleep in than fix my nails and possibly fall asleep at the salon.
Anyway, the second, third, and fourth visits... no issues.
Fifth visit... I had talked with one of the girls to design a 7-Eleven/Speedway/Stripes for 7/11 day. They came out amazing!! Very talented nail artist, and I will definitely be going back for when I get another nail idea... with proper planning and scheduling ahead of the date.
Sixth visit... I had a nail break off. I thought that I would have to pay the $90 for a full set again... but the ladies fixed it for me and only charged a small fee to redo the whole set. I was very happy and thankful that they could redo my nails when they were very busy.
This past manicure... the nail polish was running low. They shook up the nail polish as much as they and the machine could, but the polish still came out lighter than the sample when you first walked into the salon and picked a color for the samples. I don't mind it being lighter. It is still a beautiful color and I'm happy with it. Dark Aqua will always be a top color I will go to if I can't decide.
To sum up, I'm going here until I no longer can. Yes, I had issues, but they were addressed and fixed. I didn't have a demanding attitude or cried over nail polish that could be fixed. Give them more than one chance to get it right.

Don't go.. dishonest people. I had an old $25 gift certificate that was lost and found. I went in October and was told they will still accept for full amount and I just had to pay the difference for the services because of the price change. I was out of state for all of November and went in today for pedicure. They refused to accept my gift card. It's wrong for them to deny use of a gift card. I don't like the integrity of this place. I'll never go back.

Worst pedicure ever, my finger nails look like garbage. A waste of 95 dollars. Workers friendly but no idea how to do nails! Definitely go somewhere else. I feel like I just got robbed! You will be disappointed.

For starters, the only reason I'm given this place is two stars is because someone did come up and try to make the wrong, right.
All I wanted was white. No chip, with chrome on top.Very easy very basic right?
So, for starters, the ladies started sanding awayy at the old Polish to take it off and as she was doing that, I noticed that they don't use the normal acetone with cotton ball and tinfoil. They use some sort of liquid. Okay, no problem. Then she gets all done with that. And she proceeds to start polishing my nails. And I said to her look these nails Look, lumpy, she said no.No, it'll clear out when we put the polish on it. So then she proceeds to put the white Polish on. She does one coat. I'm noticing there's lumps and There's dust bubbles underneath. So I asked her to remove the dust bubbles, which she did with a little clipper thingy, Then she proceeds to continue putting the white Polish over these very lumpy nails. I said to her again. These nails look very lumpy, while she got upset and starts talking in her language to the other people in the store . Mind you. There's no radio on. It's dead silence in the store. Then she starts to put the clear Polish on and I showed her. There's no way you can put clear Polish on these. These nails are very lumpy. At that point, she proceeds to start taking off the nail polish and I explained to her. You only have to do three on one hand and one on the other. She proceeds to take it all off.And then she says someone else is going to come over and do your nails. The other lady came over and did my nails exactly the way they were supposed to be, And the lady that did a s***** job on my nails. Left the store and she went home in tears.
Now I have never went to a salon. And felt so terrible in my whole life. As I did today when I got my nails done I never want anyone to get upset and leave their job.But if you're gonna do a job and you want me to pay professional prices. Then you need to do a professional job. Needless to say, I will never Frequent this establishment again.
Below are pictures of my nails minutes after they were done.
DO NOT FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Never have I gone somewhere to get a pedicure and had such an awful experience. While I did feel bad they were under staffed and should have left, we were reassured someone would be walking in within 5 minutes of our entrance. So we sat. We had a toddler with us and even said she probably wouldn’t sit long, after we were sat at the pedicure bowls and waited. Still only one person was there. At that point it had been over 20 minutes and we were being very patient. Again we were told someone would be walking in. Finally 15/20 minutes later, 40 minutes in being sat at the pedicure bowl, someone else walked in. Our pedicures were rushed and it felt like we went to get just a polish change.. the experience was not worth the amount that was paid. It was nothing close to an actual pedicure.. Rather than being a Karen and complaining to the people. We paid and tipped. If you are understaffed and cannot accommodate more than one person at a time, please, please do not seat people and have them wait. It isn’t good business and affects both yourself and the customer.

I was in Magic Nails about a week ago and received the worst no chip manicure I've ever had. From the beginning, my nails were filed down and the polish was scraped, leaving my nails horribly thin and peeling. The lady was clipping my skin when she was trying to clip my cuticles, leaving many of my fingers bleeding. When she was "done" painting, I had polish on almost every one of my fingers. I asked her to clean them up and still left with polish on my fingers around the nail. A few of them chipped within a day. I never leave reviews but this was truly the worst no chip manicure I've ever received.
