If you are a female, avoid this place at all costs. You will be overcharged and up charged on everything. They even tried to tell me my new battery needed to be changed. Charged almost $100 for an oil change. If I wasn’t desperate because my brakes were going out, I would have walked out. It’s sad that they are still taking advantage of people.

Brought my car in for an oil change / tire repair and was told I have $3000+ worth of fixes that I need to have done. Also tried to scare me into getting repairs done asap by acting like my car isn’t safe to drive at all and being dramatic about how “serious” the problem is. Some things do need to be replaced but not nearly to the extent that Firestone tried to convince me and my car was not “unsafe to drive.”
Brought it to a second opinion and they laughed when I told them what Firestone told me. Will never come back to Firestone.
Update: Got my car completely repaired elsewhere for $900 total. Don’t be fooled, firestone is a scam and uses scare tactics to convince their customers to WAY overspend on repairs.

This place is a scam. Went in for low oil pressure and power steering issues. They told me my motor had a crack and needed a new head and top end. Plus a rack and pinion. $10k. On my 2011 Acadia. Got the work done and guess what. Same damn issues as when I first brought it in. They ended up changing the pcv valve and fixed the issue. They knew exactly what they were doing to screw me over. Also my "new rack and pinion" leaks. Horrible scam of a shop. I was a mechanic for 10 years before this, they refuse to listen to anything I told them that needed to be done and just did whatever they wanted. This shop will take advantage over anyone. BEWARE AND GO SOMEHWERE ELSE.

Based on feedback from my last appointment I went in to this appointment thinking I would need brakes and 2 tires. After the team looked at my car it was determined that I only needed 1 tire. I asked them to confirm that no other tires were close to needed to be replaced and they were very honest and said all others were within spec and there was no need to spend the additional money at this time. I truly appreciate the honesty and the felt comfortable that they were not trying to perform unnecessary services.

Everyone at Firestone Mokena is very helpful, extremely nice, and they all obviously know what they’re doing. I am more than confident in their abilities, and I am very comfortable with them repairing my vehicles. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them for repairs and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Very friendly staff. Explained everything to me that was done to my car. So far very satisfied with my service. I had 4 new tires put on and an alignment done. Work was done correctly and fast. 1.5 hours only. Happy with my service.

horrible shop. put all seasons on my ‘23 m3. took off the oem summer tires when car was brand new. got a nail in one of the all seasons took it to be patched. serious attitude and negative tone by front desk staff. got a call in afternoon that the nail was close to sidewall and they can’t repair it -offered to order a new tire. i said i will bring my brand new take off summer tires that i was planning on mounting anyways as its spring. they refused to mount. “we can only install if they have new labels on them “ total lie. just don’t want to do it. will take it down the street to belle tire who will be more then happy to mount 4 new take off tires. bad attitude. horrible customer service. passive aggressive. lie about services. i live a few blocks away and have always seen negative attitude from
these people. i will go elsewhere and advise my neighbors the same.
