“This was my first time shopping for a firearm, and I was able to get all of my questions answered. Thanks to Alex Guzzo, I learned everything I needed to know for using and maintaining a firearm. He was very patient and did not hesitate to demonstrate everything for me. I would definitely recommend this shop for beginners!”

“Walked in looking For a balisong They had an amazing selection. They have a lot of cool antiques, but if you were a knife connoisseur, there’s no other place to check out. Definitely worth a stop in. The gentleman who owns the place truly knows his stuff. There is no store that has a selection like this within 30 miles from where I live. You must check this place out if you’re looking for butterfly knives And any sort of blade or gun.”

“If you're first time into shooting and want to learn everything about guns/ammunition/rules/guidelines then John is the perfect person for it. If you're a returning enthusiast, you can still learn a whole lot. I went in the part 1-of-2 series session and learned so much. He's thorough, patience, and a perfectionist. He's also light hearted so the time will fly. Definitely highly recommend. Will update the review as I take the second course in the series. If I've one issue, it is that there are not enough sessions haha. I wish we had more frequent courses!”

“I took a private lesson with Vince. He took his time explaining every single step of owning, operating and aiming a firearm. He was extremely professional, educating and respectful. I walked out of the lesson, much more comfortable, and confident! The price I paid for the lesson and ammo used during the lesson was well worth it and reasonable. Thanks Vince!”

“Range deserves respect. If I lived closer I would go here to shoot all the time. A little pricey for certain things, but normal range and rental fees are fair enough. Doesn't kick you out or charge by the hour like other places. Excellent rental selection for trying out potential purchases and friendly staff. They rent full auto shooting for ~$50 a mag. The selection of firearms on their sales floor is massive even compared to Bass pro/Cabelas much less a local small gun store. Building is big and clean.”

“Came in looking at some handguns. Where an employee talked about the rental program. I rented 5-6 guns for a low price and finally settled on a CZ. Who buys a car without testing driving it. Will definitely come back.”

“I’ve only had positive experiences with the folks at Freddie Bear. Mr. Fred, Matt and the rest of the staff have always been very welcoming and helpful to me whenever I visit their shop. Not sure where some of these negative reviews are coming from.”
