Very pleased with Alamo and Thomas Williams, our agent. They close up shop at 10:30PM and our flight arrived late at midnight, we called ahead to see if they would stay late and they told us that it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks again for staying late, Thomas, you saved us the expense of a hotel room by doing this for us.Highly recommend Alamo at Quad Cities Airport.

Loved the seamless pickup and drop off. The company was so accommodating, and we drove a wonderful NEW 2024 car. I'm so happy it wasn't a Chevy!!!

We made a reservation for a VAN weeks ago for the 6 of us! They instead tried to give us a small SUV which could only seat 5. When they finally found a vehicle big enough they denied us saying that it needed an oil change. In the end, we lost hundreds of dollars having to get another car company to rent us a vehicle big enough. I do not recommend Alamo! We often go through another agency, but we thought we would give it a try. I don't think that will happen again!!!

We have always had good a experience with renting from Alamo. During Covid when our flight was canceled they waived the one way return fee. This time while returning our the vehicle we once again had exceptional service from Guenther Meyer. Thank you Alamo for alway providing great service!

We were in a bit of a mess with flights and were not at all confident our original flight would take off. So, we decided to see if we get get an earlier flight part way, rent a car, and drive the rest of the way. Sure enough, Alamo's web site showed cars were available in Moline. So, we changed our flights, reserved the car on Alamo's web site, and boarded our flight about an hour later.We landed in Moline and went straight to the counter and were told that there are no cars available... "We called you and left a message" Not very helpful when you are on a flight... This left us with 180 miles to go and no way to do that at 10:00 at night. "You can get a taxi", we were told. We ended up going down the line of car rental companies and all that was available was an EV for over 3 times the price with a different company.What an absolute mess. A reservation should mean something!

It has been a few months since I rented my car but wanted to make sure that I posted because Alamo and the lady that checked me in at the Quad City Airport made my experience one of the best since rental car companies aren't what they use to be.I needed an economical car to drive South and back. Price was well within reason. I didn't get the I-Pass as I had one (though forgot to bring it) and did end up with a few fees in North Florida and I knew there would be an add'l charge. It was $25.00 plus the few dollar tolls but they did not gouge me. I also brought the car back two days earlier and they gave me that credit off my overall initial charge.Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to go with Alamo again. I needed a rental. I knew what they said I would pay and they made sure that I didn't pay for anything more. A big thumbs up!

Booked 3 days prior to arriving. They had my flight number. Knew I was arriving at 8:15 pm. They decided to close 15 minutes before we got there and leave us stranded. Absolutely worst experience. Avoid them. Also don't plan to rent if arriving late to this airport, all the rental car agencies close up shop early.

Booked a car rental a month out. I called to make sure they would stay open late and the person at the desk said they would be there till midnight or last flight. Flight was delayed , I arrived at 1015 and they closed before I even got there. Alamo corporate was closed for the night and I am stranded at the airport with no car, no solution and pre-paid . DO NOT RENT from them what a scam

lucas is a scam artist!!! do not book here at all, i book my reservation and pay for it at $264 for 1 day, i get a call from licas saying that it is no longer available and i have to pay $500+ to them to get into a car for one day. then they say there is no cars available save yourself some time and look through a different company. hows it go from $264 to $500+ thats ridiculous!!! im pissed. lucas is the rep at the alamo location a bunch of liars man

This place is a nightmare. Never again will we use Alamo at the moline airport. We arrived from our flight at 8am on December 26 and waited till 9am for them to open so we could receive our mini van we had reserved almost a month prior. My husband and I have four kids including one in a car seat so we are limited in what we are able to use. When they opened up at 9am I was told they didn’t have a vehicle for me and there was nothing they could do. At this point it was the day after Christmas I knew none of the other rental counters would have something available (and they didnt) and my husband and I were stuck at the airport for over two hours with our 3 kids and a baby until we were able to finally track someone down to come help pick us up. Missing our family Christmas lunch. We weren’t the only ones either. In that two hours more people came with reservations only to be told “sorry” . Why were we not notified before that there wasn’t a vehicle? There wasnt even a van SCHEDULED to be returned till the next day after our reservation! it’s now been two days and I’m still without a vehicle and not getting ANY call back and I’m scrambling to find another vehicle and company at which point I’ll be paying significantly more than my original reservation. We are extremely disappointed in this company.

I want to echo Rich Pugh's sentiments. Alamo did the same thing to me as well. Charged me an extra day. Rented on a Friday and returned on Saturday night, knowing it would be after hours.

Rented a car friday for one day and return time was known to be after closing time and you still are trying to charge an extra day. Even though you have the car in your possesion you think you need more money because you choose to be open shorter hours on a Saturday!!! I wont ever use you again

Reserved a car online for the same day, when we got there she said people who reserved in advance get the cars. She also said she called me to tell me that but the mailbox was full which is a lie because I did not get a call and my mailbox is empty.
