I say the following with a strong caveat: I have rented from them multiple times and have always had friendly service and been upgraded on more than one occasion. However at this location its important to note that if you try to make a same day rental, pre-paid or otherwise you will be out of luck. Inventory is tough for them during the week, which seems to be an after affect of the covid era. So as long as you either prepay or reserve a day in advance you should be fine.

I reserved a Ford Mustang but received a Toyota Camry - nothing even close to a Mustang was available so despite other rental car agencies having with sporty cars available, I chose to honor my reservation even through Avis did not (strike 1). I returned car at 2:15 but no staff at counter so as sign said, I marked the fuel level and time returned - sadly, neither were honored. Strike 2) they weren't there when I returned (long break?) Strike 3) chose to incorrectly show my return at 4pm so I was charged 25.50 for extra hour and Strike 4) they charged 16.99 for fuel yet it was returned full so another error. Strike 5) extra tax on all it. And strike 6, Camry reeked of smoke

Over an hour wait at counter. Understaffed. Only one person for avis & budget counter. She was freindly but overworked. No lines at the other rental counters. Car had 20 psi in one tire.

I fly into moline several times a year, and they customer service has been amazing all the time. They have been able to accommodate late arrivals due to the flights. Very simple to work with and as a Preferred member, it makes all the transitions very quick and simple.

I wish google allowed me to leave less than one star. Not only was this the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had, but I honestly think this AVIS location is actively stealing money from customers.After my flight landed I waited nearly an hour for a car. The attendant said they didn’t have any cars at the moment but some were coming in. Once I was finally assigned a car it was very apparent it had not been cleaned in any way. It wreaked of cigarette smoke, but my only other option was to go back inside and wait in a line that was twice as long as when I arrived. So I just took the car.When I got my receipt for the rental, I had been charged $235 for an optional insurance. I was never offered or asked about this when I was assigned a car. They just added it to my rental without ever saying anything to me. I travel 20+ times a year for work and my company has insurance with their AVIS account. I’ve never once added optional insurance in 10+ years of traveling.One week after being home I got a letter in the mail indicating I was being charged a $450 cleaning fee because the car smelled like cigarettes. I’ve never smoked a cigarettes in my life. They never cleaned the car before it was given to me.Bottom line: If you want to be wildly inconvenienced, drive a disgusting vehicle and have multiple fraudulent charges added to your rental, then AVIS QC airport is the place for you.Seriously do ANYTHING you can to avoid this place. I’m honestly considering filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

Ebony literally went out of her way to make sure i was able to get rental car, I misunderstood how they do there payments and the deposit, I thought i had paid the deposit , I have never flown alone or ever rented a car, and my card balance wasn’t enough, I was her last customer, and she could have just shoved me off , like sorry I can’t do anything, knowing she probably had a long day, but she didn’t, she called her supervisor and they were able to work it so I had my rental car. She did not have to go out of her way like she did and I hope she reads this and knows how much I truly appreciated her and her patience and kindness, def need more of her around! Thank you so much again you saved my life and sanity !❤️❤️

My job rented a car through Avis. When we got our car, the front of the car has so many bugs on it that we needed to use the windshield wiper fluid. The key fob battery was low and also there was a crack in the windshield that was not reported on my receipt due to the fact you couldn't see it because of all the bugs....
