Purchased a 2023 1025R with loader and backhoe with the deck, plow, ballast box, weights, light package, seat cover, and box scraper from West Central. After delivery we found the hydraulic fluid leaking, down a quart, whining pump. Also, the deck is severely corroded and all of the fluid leaked out of the gearbox. Tractor is less than a month old with less than 10hrs., already needing repairs. It obviously was not checked before delivery. The sales rep had trouble with the tractor and deck while showing us before delivery how to use it. I should have known better. Was supposed to be a happy experience. John Deere says my contract is between me and the dealer and they can not help. Most likely I will trade it in so I have something reliable. Oh and the seat cover also broke when installing it.

How many people die driving to work because you won't excuse absence due to roads literally being shut down and having blizzard conditions. Greedy corporate monsters that only view the workers as a literal human resource that are so disposable.

I've just been here for about a year. I am impressed by my leadership team. I have very helpful teammates, even when it is the 3rd time I asked.

Nothing good to say here, I signed paperwork at John Deere/Pape in Elk Grove California to have my Homeowner Tractor and Impliments picked up and returned to their Sales Facility for RESALE, I was assured it would be facilitated in 4 to 5 days, to my knowledge the Tractor and Implements are still on the property where I left them over a year ago, how can you resell a thing you can not show to potential customers? So I quit paying the monthly fee, now I bet John Deere will go repossess the Equipment!!!

A Fortune 100 company and a world leader in agriculture, forestry, and roadbuilding equipment, John Deere supports and helps those who provide food, nutrition, fiber, fuel, and infrastructure put food on every table for the billions of people around the planet in addition to helping them end hunger in their communities. John Deere is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion and is recognized as one of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere. I consider John Deere a great company to work for! Two thumbs all the way up.

Not very pleased that John Deere uses a system of dual plastic pulleys bolted to heavy mild steel to manage tension for the main drive belt on the X350 lawn tractor. At 174 hours one plastic pulley shredded and partially melted from friction. As a result, the new unbalanced tension from the spring pulled the other plastic pulley in a direction it is not supposed to be and started shaving away against the control rod that sits under the frame rail and connects the main pedals to the transaxle. Luckily my nose alerted me as I started to detect what smelled like burnt rubber as the machine continued to operate. The lawn tractor has been used normally and never abused. Both pulleys were not cheap. I expect way more quality and engineering of John Deere and particularly their "X" series. I might expect "less" on the lower end models offered at the local hardware store but how many thousands more do I have to pay for quality? And why are my eastern NC John Deere dealers not all the same when they are owned by the same group, carry the same name, but operate differently and carry different products (and attitudes) depending on location? Some seem to cater to the large accounts while another carries more of what the average home owner might purchase. When I visit a John Deere location, I cannot immediately determine if I am at the right one unless a bull dozer is parked out front and I am looking to buy a string trimmer. It is less obvious and sad to suddenly realize that I might not be a preferred customer or at the right location based on what I am looking to buy. If this is by design then it is very flawed or just sell the "X" series at the local hardware store.

Regarding the Z530M zero turn mower with 24 hp V-twin engine, it was easy to learn how to ride and made short work of big areas with deep almost waist, deep grass that we used to use a tractor with a pull behind brush mower. The deepest grass areas needed, going over several times to get it, shorter and even out but this is an excellent mower I love it!
