I had a 10:15 appt. On the rack by 10:20. Diagnosed the tire was repairable. Fixed by 10:40. Plug needs to set a few more minutes. I Asked about the treads. They gave me a full report ( all tires averaged between 5.5 and 6.5mm everywhere). Said they were still good for 20-30k more miles. Went to Farm & Fleet. I got a flat tire and the new tire they sold me wore down significantly faster than the other tires by good year already on my car. A different shop told me I should go there for a warranty because the treads were already at a 2-3-2 which I witnessed them measuring. When I went to Firestone the tried telling me the treads were at a 4-5-4 which was not true, so I was unable to use the warranty. Will never go to Firestone again.

Kittens outside in the freezing cold. The manager was approached by a local rescue who wanted to trap them and rehabilitate them to place in homes. The manager would not allow them to help the kittens.

I had tried to contact Firestone to schedule an appointment for an alignment. They must have been busy because I was forward to a “schedule specialist” who had scheduled me for noon, and I received a confirmation text stating I had the appointment at this location. When I arrived to Firestone, I was told they did not have me down for an appointment, and was told the “schedule specialist” does not have access to their system. I had even shown the text directly stating the confirmation of my time. The staff in the store was extremely unhelpful, acting as if my presence was an annoyance to them. I ended up calling the scheduling specialist again, and I was told by him that the store was incorrect, and that everyone within Firestone uses the same scheduling system. Even this “schedule specialist” was extremely unhelpful, and after that he only responded with one word when I expressed my complaints. The call was not even forty seconds long and I did my best to not take my frustration out on him, I’m not sure why the call was like that too. This entire experience was completely confusing and upsetting as I had even planned quite a bit of my day around this appointment since I live a bit out of town. What a waste of time. I will not be returning here especially since I’ve been a loyal customer since I had my first car over a decade ago.

They've had my car for a week and haven't looked at it yet- nevermind actually fixing it. Don't come here unless you're OK getting passed over in the queue.

Christopher from 4 months ago shared a post and explained a situation eerily similar to what happened to me too.
TL;DR
2.5-3 hours for a schedule oil change, and my oil filter was left loosened. There were a few other negative takeaways too. Scroll down and read Christopher’s post if you’re interested learning more about that.
I’m sure that Firestone is full of great employees, but management should be provided more support in their role. The employees need leadership.
Again, I hate to experience being the anomaly, but someone below experienced the same exact thing. Button it up

Took my car in for a spark plug replacement. When I picked up the vehicle, the engine misfired and the check engine light came on immediately. This was late in the day so they were not able to take a look until the next day. The next day, they informed me that the porcelain on one of the spark plugs was cracked. Obviously the technician did not do a test drive after the installation and most likely dropped the brand new spark plug on the ground before install.
A couple weeks later, we decided to give them another shot on a set of new tires for the wife's car. Made an appointment online for install on Wednesday. Tuesday night, received a call that the tires would not be in until Friday. We took the car in on Friday morning and late that afternoon we received a call that the tires never came in and that they would do the install on Saturday. Friday night we received another call that said that the install would not be able to be done until Monday... We called early Monday morning and were told that the install would be done by lunch time. Just now we called (12:45pm) and were initially told that the car was done, only for the person on the phone to double back and say that actually they had not started the install yet. At this point it is doubtful that we will be back again.

Last few times I went here it was nothing but a headache, I get argued with that I didnt buy my lifetime because it's not under my name. Long story short it's under three different names. But tonight I had a lady who was absolutely awesome she apologized for the long wait a few times and got my car in rite away. Even fixed stuff for me in their system. So hopefully smooth from here on out.

On time for my appointment, stood in the waiting room for 15 minutes with the front desk guy seeing me multiple times and not coming to check me in, to be told it will take an hour for a simple tpms reset. Makes me wish I didn't buy lifetime alignment.

So disappointed! Sent my 16 yr old daughter to drop off car to Firestone in Davenport but accidentally dropped off in moline. They told her to give to Eldris and checked them in. No one told them Eldris was in Davenport No call to me b4 tearing it apart. I called first thing in morning and they tore it apart night b4 and I told them I’m coming to pick up because it Went to wrong store. Do they do this? Well no, not until I paid for a diag that took me ten minutes to see the fuel leak at the fuel injector. So I pay this diag and they tell me it needs fuel injectors coils plugs and fuel rail. Lol it had one leak on one fuel injector oring! Fixed that and replaced the boots cuz of the fuel on them. I spent more for the diag, that was falsified. Just club their customers rather than fixing just the problem. The whole reason I wanted it to go to Davenports store!! I deserve all my money back but we will see.

I waited in the store for 2.5 hours for a simple oild change and tire rotation with an appointment. I watched 2 people work on it almost the entire time. I was told when they were "almost" done at 2 hours that they just need to lower it, put oil back in, and torque the tires. It took another 30 minutes at least to do that. I've been to other oil change stores and this would be done in a fraction of the time. I will never use Firestone again.
While I was waiting one of the employees put a customer on hold and never went back to them. Again, while I was checking out, the same employee put 3 different callers on hold, asking "can you hold?" without waiting for a response. He proceeded to fuss about the calls to the point that it flustered the lady being checked out next to me. She didn't even want to inconvenience him by asking for a printed receipt.
