Had reserved vehicle and called 3 times to confirm reservation. First of all Angie I talked to is the worst person to deal with. Her attitude is awful and she acts like she really hates her job. Customer service is not where she should be working. When we get there for pickup denied after I called and confirmed everything 3 times. Go to Avis right beside Hertz. They went out of their way to get nice rental for us. And customer service was fantastic. I will never use Hertz ever again!!

I’m with a towing company and was trying to get into the lot to drop off a car at 7:45pm on 8//2025 and Scott showed up and was happy to help me and direct me to where to drop the car. I appreciate all the help!!!!

Not cleaned prior to receiving vehicle. Did not offer needed tutorial on vehicle functions. Handicapped renters, no assistance offered to retrieve vehicle from parking lot.

Our plane was delayed and Angela actually called me to confirm I was still coming in to Moline Airport and she would wait for me. have you ever had a Car Rental agent call you? I have not. I was very impressed. Lesson learned when renting a car always put in your flight information.

First time renting with Hertz. All 3 Hertz personnel who processed my rental agreement, who worked the exit gate & who handled my return were famous. On top of that, my bill was exactly what I was told with no variance in amount.

Hertz team at Moline rented a vehicle to my wife that smelled of marijuana smoke, then tried to hit her with a $400 cleaning fee AFTER she turned in the vehicle and without saying anything to her. We challenged the fee over the phone and were told a manager would call back. She never did call back, and when I called back and asked to speak to the manager I was transferred to the dead-end automated phone menu. After that, my calls were simply disconnected. Had to go to the chat function on the Hertz website to get any help. VERY POOR customer service from the Moline team, and probably at least one person there who is trying to cover their mistakes by blaming the customer. I expect a much better experience from Hertz.

This location is hands down one of the best with a great staff. Q, Christina, and Shanna have done an excellent job providing nothing but the best customer service upon renting and returning. When you have children or any family with disabilities when traveling it is very important that your service providers understand. These ladies have definitely shown me that as a customer they are dedicated to their position to provide exceptional service. They are always so pleasant, and these days that is a joy to see! Keep up the great work ladies.

Arrived late due to flight delay due to weather at 11pm. We were told the all of the car rental offices stay open until all flights were in. Ours was not the last flight to arrive. All of the other companies were open. Hertz was not. The lights were out and no one was there. We had to find a ride to our hotel and come back the next day. I told the person at the desk that no one was here last night and she just kept repeating “he didn’t clock out til 1am”. I said that there were several people waiting and looking for the Hertz rep. He wasn’t here. All she had to do was say I’m sorry for your inconvenience. She was very rude.

Should not allow booking a vehicle at 500 online to find out they close at 500 when we get there at 507. Paid to not have a vehicle as a gold member this should not happen! Customer service informed us that they know this is a problem and have done nothing about it! Thank goodness Enterprise saved us and we are able to make our flight!

My flight was delayed and I arrived at the counter ***4 minutes*** after closing and they had already closed out and left, leaving myself and a plane full of others without a car.

Got to the Hertz counter at 1035pm and no one was there. I had a 1030p scheduled pickup time, flight details on the reservation and my flight was delayed 20min so I got to the counter late.
How can everyone be gone only 5 min after scheduled pickup time?
Enterprise and National also have a listed 1030p closing time but I saw their staff staying open until 11p getting rentals out to the same people on my flight.
Fortunately the Hertz morning staff was available before 830a the next day. They were quick and friendly and got me on the way.
