This place is just the best right here. I just got back from there as a matter of fact. It's only four blocks from my house so I walk down there and every time I go I always get something on my list that I need for my new house.
I needed a small frying pan so I got one that looks like it's never been used for $2.99.
I got a frame for a picture for $0.99
I got a new Chaise lounge for my house for $40 when I first got here. And I got a nice old ceramic mixing bowl for $2.99.
I mean I think everything there is just dirt cheap compared to Florida where I just came from

I always, always, always have such a great experience when visiting this Salvation Army. However, this visit was much different. The moment I walked into the building and started shopping, one of the workers (whom I found out her name was Romellia) made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable. She kept staring us down and watching our every move. I shop here quite often and do not deserve to feel discriminated against for the color of my skin. I almost wanted to leave without buying anything from this place, but the friendly cashier at the front end (I think his name was Jake) and another associate named Paula turned my experience around to be 5 stars because of how human they were towards me and my partner. Jake and Paula make it worth coming back week after week and they both deserve a raise for their great customer service and attitudes!!!! However, Romellia needs to have a conversation with a higher up to not make her customers feel uncomfortable when they come to shop.

I’m not gonna lie. It was a good time today. It was a good place. I’m down and out on my love and I need help. My old lady left me with my three children, and I didn’t know what to do. I’m trying to sign up for some food and some assistance from the state.

Says everywhere that they’re opened and they closed 2 hours earlier… their billboard outside says “open 9 to 9” yet the guy told me “we’re closing here in a couple mins”. Waste of time, waste of gas, and a waste of space.

Hours says 9am -9 pm on sign and door and website. Just showed up at 7:50 pm. Staff standing inside, doors locked and open sign off. Daughter walked up to door and they stared at her and shook their heads. Wouldn’t let her in.

It was pretty picked over on a Monday morning. My previous experience was on a Thursday. I found a good table and a clock for a "Cave."
