Honestly, I am trying so hard to be fair and give a good review but I DO NOT recommend this company to ANYONE! There is still a $200.00 hold on my credit card and it's been more than 24 hours since I returned the car. I went to my financial institution and they said they are not required to release a hold on any debit/credit cards. So what is happening? Why am I being over charged? You should be out of business! Thriftys is NOT worth YOUR cash or time!! I recommend taking an Uber over this company. Thriftys is not good at all to rent from.

We called the call center to extend the reservation and where told that we had to go to a physical office to change credit cara and were given this location. After going twice to the airport office and it being closed, we finally managed to talk to the gentleman at hertz that informed us that the office has been closed for 3 years and that they don't have access to the system. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM AND YOUR GOOGLE MAP STATUS TO REFLECT THAT IT US A CLOSED LOCATION. WASTES GAS MONEY and time and now have to drive all the way to Chicago

Bad experience, bad customer service. We rented a 7 person vehicle (min-van) seven months before going to Maui. Once we landed in Maui, we went to pick up our vehicle at the airport, and we were offered an upgrade for additional fees - which we reluctantly agreed to. Our upgraded vehicle hadn't been cleaned, and didn't have keys. We looked around and realized we got scammed because there weren't any vehicles like we had originally reserved (like a mini-van). We then got an additional "upgrade", but this time for free. After driving our vehicle for a day, we realized the oil light was on. I called Thrifty to discuss and they told me to drive it anyway. I have written two reviews about our experience, one through Expedia, and one directly to Thrifty, and neither one has been acknowledged by Thrifty.

Horrible. We returned our car with little beach sand in it. They charged us $100 for cleanup! Something that they are supposed to do regularly before giving the car to next customer.

So arrived in Denver and went to pick my car up. This is the line I had to wait through my o pick my car up. Only one person in duty. Come on. It is Labor Day weekend in Denver and you have one guy working. God bless him.

Horrible. Over charged me by $200. Hung up on me when calling to receive refund. Was given a wrong email. Literally the worst car service ever.

Worst rental car experience of my life! Booked my car three weeks in advance, then had to wait in line for two hours, only to be met by the most discourteous, unprofessional staff I have ever laid eyes on. Once I paid my additional $300 in non-disclosed fees, I was asked to wait another 45 minutes to actually get the car. Literally stole an entire day of my vacation, and made me late to meet my family. Don't bother!

Very incompetent record keeping. My rental was never checked in and they checked out another persons vehicle. Had to drive to the airport myself about a 50 mile round trip to get it taken care of because the agent at the airport wouldn’t answer the phone call from the company. I’ll go back to Alamo. They have awesome customer service

Worst car rental experience I've ever had by far!!! Most of all they charged me $205 for 1 day!!!! I rented a car for a week for $150. On top of that I booked a compact car (Ford Focus or similar) they gave me a sob-compact car (Toyota Yaris), no key fob, no cruise control. Then when I return it I have to figure out where to park it myself, walk across the parking lot to return the keys and they asked me what the ending milage is. For $205 they should come pick it up from my house for me. $205 they should have driven us home! The staff also seemed less than friendly on both ends of renting the vehicle and extremely over worked! Just all around terrible experience!
