This Pilot is in a great location for semis, lots of warehouses and commercial properties nearby this truck stop serves, unfortunately this place is falling into severe need for repairs and upgrades.
The truck parking lot needs resurfaced, lot of concrete structures like sidewalks have cracks. Interior walls damaged, showers need upgrades too. It’s bad.
The free parking is tiny you’re lucky to get a spot even during daytime hours.
The showers tho, are good, nice water pressure.

The showers are very old and bad-looking, I don't think anyone fits the size of that small shower, i recommend not to bathe there.

Shytehole. I avoid this place unless I have to scale coming out of Chicago. Pumps are packed with trucks shopping, eating, showering etc. 6 spots or more available to park when i arrived. All paid. I parked in a reserve spot after fueling and scaling to get some food before rolling out. Come back outside to find manager waiting by my truck mad. Accused me of stealing from him because I was parked in paid parking. It's maybe 1630 at this point. Meanwhile pumps are backed up because I guess that's the place to park here. Ridiculous. I'll go to petro across the street from now on.

Pos pilot mostly unattended bobtails. Or trucks with trailers unattended taking up parking spots. Half is paid parking. Don't stop or spend money here go somewhere better

Whoever the guy is that answered the phone at 1755 on 4/25/24, needs fired.
People who talk to other people like that for asking which spots are reserved need to lose their job.
Just ANOTHER reason NOT to stop at Pilot & Flying J.
You just keep making it harder and harder to come to ANY of your stores.
So I went across the street, to Petro, called them and that girl was as nice as she could be.
Not once did she say "well you're a truck driver aren't you", or " well if you don't understand that, I don't know what to tell you"....
I'll take my Authority somewhere else.
