“I have come to realize that much of my produce is less expensive at Aldi. I assume they don't have the same product turn around time as major grocery stores so always check for the freshed items. While I still prefer certain brands, Aldi has been my go to spot for produce and many of their organic products. I'm a huge product label reader, not purchasing items filled with chemicals or processed ingredients, yet I can still find many items at Aldi that fit my strict food shopping requirements and are lower cost vs other grocery stores.”

“Did my second pick-up order and again I’m amazed at how kind and helpful the lady is who brings out the groceries. And the whole order was 100% correct and packed up thoughtfully. IMO this is the best time-saver in town.”

“The staff is always helpful. I recommended doing a trip of 20 items or less to use the self scanner. Anything more than that and you will be waiting a while for the (1) cashier that is working.”

“I love Aldi. Till items scan wrong. In this case, the tag was certainly in the wrong place. However to close to the item that I was lugging around the store! Busy/not busy pricing is IMPORTANT! It's a waste of my time to walk down the aisle to show where I got the RIGHT/WRONG price for the WRONG item. I'm still rating this location FIVE STARS, because they work hard, and they deserve it for ALL the things they do CORRECTLY.”

“May first introduction to Aldi was a couple decades ago when I used to live in Germany. I would never think to see them in the USA, especially near our house. Now we regularly go there. It's very affordable and the products you can get where are often quite unique.”

“I want everyone who has ever considered shopping at the Aldi store in Sugar Grove, IL, to know that Ryan and Jan are at the helm. Both will merit your patronage as they have sustained mine over time. Jan and Ryan demonstrate, exemplify, and raise the bar for customer service for each and every patron...loyal customer or 1st time curious visitor. They are better than the best and deserve the highest of accolades. Reward them well, ALDI corporate executives. It isn't just your prices and products that intice, it is your most important commodity, your STAR performers... it is they who serve your brand and mission most! I fully EXPECT that my praise will reach the ears of those I have honored, and pray they will be given many opportunities to grow within your company, should they wish to do so. Thank you.”

“Aldi delivers on what it’s known for, great prices. My wife especially loves the high quality chocolates at such reasonable cost, which I’m pretty sure is her way of sending me a message. The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and they always seem busy keeping things running. I’m also a big fan of their fresh pizzas, they’re large, tasty, and incredibly affordable. On the downside, some items do sell out from time to time. Those pizzas in particular can disappear fast, although that probably says more about how popular they are than anything else. The overall selection is also on the smaller side. Still, considering the prices they manage to offer, it’s hard to expect an endless variety.”

“Been longtime Aldi shopper and advocate. New to this location. it's not an issue, but it's not as well kept/clean as some other area locations. the biggest drawback is there is not the self checkout available. there are often lines to wait for checking out”

“It’s a great store. It’s just a little crowded because it’s small. It has a deli, small buffet, small pharmacy, and also a small area where you can get some lottery tickets.”

“Excellent experience. Purchased a ceiling fan and a outdoor light. The sell lady listened to what we were looking for. Showed us several different options until we found what we were looking for. The Installer arrived on time and completed the work and answered all our question. No complaints at al.”

“Good place open late. Only thing is I said multiple times have a good night. I said thank you to the cashier once I was leaving. I understand that it’s late and you had a long shift but hey one you’re welcome one have a good night. It goes a long way, especially when I said it over three times so yeah maybe just have a good night, sir have a good day, sir would go a long way when I say have a good night, the cashier looked at me and didn’t even say anything maybe have some manners and say something back like have a good night or even just give me a response rather than just ignoring me I mean I get it it’s late but have some manners. I just told you to have a good night. I didn’t cause any problems and I’m just asking you thank you and have a good night and you decide to just not answer anything I say. This happened at 11:52 PM at the cashiers lane Next time have a better attitude, and if I’m causing you a problem, which I clearly didn’t maybe it’s time to find a new job.”

“Jewel is known for being pricy. It took a while to get their pint ice cream freezer fixed afterthought floods a week ago. Most things I purchase at Woodmans but meat and produce I buy at this Jewel. Again if you use the digital deals it helps a big deal except I don't purchase most of the offerings.”
