They do not abide by their posted hours. I have gone by twice in last week and they are not open at 4pm, even though their posted hours are 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. Update your hours or be there!
UPDATE: They called the following day and told me they are short-staffed, so they had to close early.

The one here in Monticello, IL has really gone downhill the last few years. They are often randomly closed. It sometimes takes days to get prescriptions filled. I often get a 30-day supply of pills, and the bottle is so big that the pills barely cover the bottom. I know several people who have switched to Kirby Pharmacy.

Yes they are always friendly and helpful, that being said, the store hours are not as posted and they cannot keep the store staffed properly in order to be open as hours are posted. Saturdays being the problem without notice.

They might be friendly but poor communicators. Won't answer the phone, and no way to get a simple question to them. I sat on hold over an hour.

Thank you to this Walgreens and its knowledgeable manager! I was switching between insurance providers, and this would have been a very frustrating process (insurance companies always make me jump through hoops before they'll cover my RX), but the manager here knew exactly what needed to be done to make the system work. This is a pharmacy that works hard to provide excellent healthcare!
