Attended many churches both in Illinois and Florida and pastor Robert. Is a very caring person. He announced that he has been retained for another year. Hopefully he will continue for many many years to come

Be sure to check out their bi-annual rummage sale. Treasures galore. Many fine people to help you with securing large pieces while you shop the rest of the sale. Next sale will be in October. Make it a go to.

About First United Methodist Church
Since 1842, the First United Methodist Church of Morris, Illinois has been a rich congregation of faith, family, and friends. We follow the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Rooted in downtown Morris, we reach out into our community and world, to live out our faith in God, and the love for Jesus Christ. We offer contemporary worship on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and traditional worship on Sundays at 9 am. Sunday School is at 10:30 am (Sept-May). We also offer many study groups; women, men, and youth groups and events; and social & community events throughout the year. Our United Methodist Preschool offers classes for 3 & 4 year olds, with a Christian atmosphere that includes Bible stories & Christian music.
