I went to K&N for my sister’s wedding, and I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism. The 1st photo is what I wanted, and my nail tech, Don, seemed very annoyed immediately when I showed him what my inspiration was. He took a very long time to shape my nails into the almond shape, and he seemed to lack understanding of what a simple French tip design looked like with a chrome overtop. The 2nd photo is what he ended up doing. I was so shocked by how he managed to make a simple French tip into something a little kid would do. That “French tip” would end up being $70, but my sister told me I should get them fixed, or even removed. We asked the girl at the front desk (who was very, very kind) about how my nails weren’t what I wanted, and the owner, Nina, was so unprofessional. She started yelling across the room towards my nail tech, and all of the employees started to talk as well. I only wanted to talk to the owner, but she managed to involve everyone into my business. We tried explaining how it doesn’t look like the picture, and she was absolutely so rude, rolling her eyes, and basically having zero tolerance of any complaints. A different nail tech said she can fix it, but I was hesitant since Don did such an awful job, but I reluctantly agreed. She was nicer than the others. As she was fixing them, Don sat in his chair with his arms crossed, glaring at me almost the entire time. It was such childish behavior. He was like a man-baby. The owner, Nina, continued to be unprofessional by laughing, and mocking me with her employees. My sister and I approached the situation with calmness, and maturity, but we were not met with the same. After getting them fixed, I still had to pay full price, zero discount, zero offer of credit. The next day, my nails were sore from the constant ungentle filing; they should not hurt, but they did. They also reuse their files which is very unsanitary. I was in the salon for 3 hours dealing with this. I would advise anyone who considers going there to be cautious, they’re very, very unprofessional if you have any issues with your nails. 10/10 do not recommend. Be warned. UPDATE:Owner does not address her rude behavior, just lies about what I wanted. I showed Don the photo so obviously that is what I wanted, he should be capable of looking at a photo, and doing exactly (or just at least similar) what the customer wants. Also, I asked Don what he suggested for chrome, and he did not respond so I just picked one. Chrome is not the issue here lol. I never said I never wanted a deep French, seems like you’re the liar here.

My experience happened a few months ago, but only just got to leaving a review. I’ve gone to KN for years. I made an appointment for a full set two weeks in advance with Vicky for a big vacation I was going on. I showed up for the appointment and they had put me down for the wrong day. I made the appointment in advance for a reason and could not come another day. They double booked and I had arrived before the other person that booked. They proceeded to argue with me in front of everyone in the salon, saying someone else booked so I have to come back or have someone else do it. I said no, I booked two weeks ago, I am here right now, and I wanted a specific person to do it. When the other client came in, it became clear she was a regular with Vicky, and she had made her appointment the DAY BEFORE. They kept repeating to me that she has an appointment so I need to come back later. I said that I have an appointment as well so why do I have to be the one to leave? Finally, the other woman said I can keep my appt since I booked two weeks before when she only booked the day before. Then Nina and Kevin and other techs had the audacity to profusely apologize to only the other client and not me in the slightest, despite having argued with me for the past 15 minutes about how I need to leave despite being there before the other client, having booked 2 weeks sooner than she did, and it not being my fault that they double booked Vicky. It was honestly ridiculous. They also asked the other client if she “was sure” about her leaving instead of me as if there was a better reason for her to keep the appt over me? It was entirely unprofessional and I was essentially berated in front of the entire salon. I’m glad I stood my ground but it turned me off of coming back in the future despite having gone here for years with good experiences. I expect their response to the review will say this never happened or it happened differently after looking at their responses to other reviews, but this happens regularly.Service: Acrylic nails

This salon's nail removal service was a complete disappointment. The technician seemed untrained and didn't know how to properly remove the nail extensions. As a result, the removal process was painful and damaging to my natural nails. The technician used excessive force and rough tools, leaving my nails weak and fragile. The overall experience was unpleasant and left me with regrets for getting nail extensions in the first place. I will never subject my nails to such a terrible removal process again.

Just horrible. I had a pedi done on Tuesday 7/11. I specifically asked the lady Mi I(I believe) to make sure to get my ingrown toe nails. The cost was $62. I noticed on Thursday that I was having some pain. Sure enough it was my ingrown toe nails. I had to work late all week plus the weekend so I was unable to come in sooner. I came in on Monday 7/17 and explained the situation. I was charged another $20. I cannot believe it. What happened to good customer service? I told them I would not be returning.Service: Pedicure

I was there to get a pedicure. Not my first time, I actually really liked this place in the past. My nail tech was so rude. I was at the pedicure chair and she walks up and greets the woman NEXT to me. Not acknowledging me but I said hello and asked how she was. She proceeded with the service. She stopped doing my pedicure to go on her phone and read and look stuff up. She then completed the service. Usually when they are done they will carry the belongings to the dryer table and have you sit there. She got up and walked away. Leaving me sitting at the pedicure chair. I didn’t know if she was coming back but after waiting 5 minutes and seeing her walk around doing other stuff I gathered she was done with me. I grabbed my stuff and went to the dryer table which had no power to activate the fans/lights. I sat there looking for a switch and saw her walk right past me looking at the table and went in back. I sat there a couple minutes later waiting for assistance. I finally left. Never going here againService: Pedicure

I had an appointment for a pedicure at 5:30 and was not seen until 6. Multiple technicians walked past me and didn’t offer to fill the water in the foot bowl so I finally put my shoes back on because my feet got cold while waiting. If I’m paying a $60 dollar bill for just a pedicure I expect to be able to soak my feet in warm water while I wait for the technician who is behind. Probably won’t be back.

I got a gift card for Christmas but misplaced it so the girl at the counter looked it up and let me use it. I was with the person who bought it so it was verified with his card # that he paid for it with. Then two employees reprimand her right in front of me and everyone. So they were just going to not honor my gift card and keep the money. I have been going there for years and have always had good experiences but today I am very disappointed and may not be back. One would think they would do better for a long time customer. And treat their employees a little better.Service: Pedicure

New to the area and was really hoping I would find a great nail spa on my first try. I would never recommend this place. It was obvious the nail tech was bothered by doing my nails. My nails are long and was told I had acrylic on them when I have been getting dip for a long time. She seemed frustrated having to remove it and struggled doing so which makes me believe they use cheap dip polish. 60$ for white dip on my natural nails, with missing polish spots and an uneven trim, I was a bit disappointed to say the least. I asked why it was so much and they couldn’t break down the pricing for me. I left confused and definitely won’t be back.Service: Manicure

This is a horrific place. They steal your card information and use it and use cheap materials. Never go here. The good reviews are fake.

My wife coaxed me I to getting a pedicure there and I finally gave in (happy wife happ life right fellas?) Anyways MAN OH MAN was it AMAZING. Happy and very friendly staff and wow did they make my calves feel like jello leaving that place! If you get a pedicure get the full works because it's worth EVERY PENNY! Also, tip those folks well they bust their butts to provide us relaxation and MAAAAAN is it worth it!

I went for a pedicure for the first time in a year. I've never been here before. I got a 45$ pedicure. I work on my feet so it was much needed. I explained I needed a massage on my feet. Well the lady was a bit rough with my little ankles and she seemed very displeased with her tip. Didn't say thank you nothing... Like a tip is nothing anyone really has to give.... And I gave a fair tip for the service. I won't be back though. There's better places to go. It was nothing special.
