“I’ve always wanted to stop into this store but felt it was too fashionable for me. I’ve never been a fashionable person and after an 80lb weight loss, I have no idea what looks good on me. I’m 4’10” with an hourglass shape and somehow, my legs are long but my torso is short so clothes shopping is never good or easy for me. My husband and I stopped in yesterday to find a hat because it was chilly, and I didn’t expect to walk out with anything: too young, too trendy, too fashionable, and I’m too short for these jeans. Then Linda approached me and my husband encouraged me to tell her what I was looking for. I know I need jeans and the wide leg look is popular but I told Linda at 4’10” with such a short torso, I didn’t think it would look good and I doubted they had any jeans to accommodate my height- I also had no idea what size I was anymore. Like all of my other in-store experiences, I figured I wasn’t going to walk out with anything, especially jeans. I clearly did not know the expert that Linda was. My husband sat on the “husband couch”, she offered him a drink, and brought me pair after pair to try on. She was spot on with my size and height. She wasn’t pushy at all, and gave me honest feedback about how they looked. She examined me in every pair I tried on and then would find more options based on how the last one looked and how I liked it. Another associate (I can’t remember her name, I’m sorry! She had black and white hair) started helping my husband find tops for me. She listened to my husband’s recommendations and used her own expertise to find some great tops. When there was a top I loved but I felt a little insecure in, she immediately knew how to fix it. All this to say that I walked out with 5 pairs of jeans, 4 tops, and the greatest shopping experience I’ve had as a 39 year old woman who could never really find anything to fit my body. I sincerely have dreaded clothes shopping, no matter what size or age I was so I stick to safe tshirt and leggings. They helped me out of my comfort zone and made me feel the most confident I’ve ever felt walking out of a store. I am so thankful we walked into this store and I will definitely be back. We did not buy a hat.”

“I like the selection here although it trends a little expensive. The employees are generally nice and helpful but there is always a Christian radio station on with very heavy-handed programming. It made me uncomfortable to listen to programming that explicitly talks about Christ, etc… not everyone who shops here is Christian and Republican. It’s professional to have neutral radio programming —easy listening, etc—that appeals to everyone rather than a station with a specific agenda that may alienate customers.”
