My experience at Bella Terra was truly exceptional. The staff, from nurses to housekeeping, made me feel like part of their family during my three-week stay. The nurses, including Glenda, Louiemar, Tola, and Baisse, were incredibly patient and supportive throughout my recovery. Likewise, the CNA team, led by Helena, Teresa, Jennifer, and Elizabeth, provided unwavering support. The housekeeping staff, particularly Blanca, ensured my comfort and room cleanliness. The therapists, Sini, Jolene, Gembata, played a crucial role in my recovery, pushing me to achieve more than I thought possible. Even the trivia team, featuring Meena, Chris, Alexander, and Jaosie, made my stay enjoyable with engaging activities. I am deeply grateful for the impact Bella Terra and its team, including Keisha, had on my healing journey, and I will always cherish the memories. Thank you for your exceptional care and support.

This place is a joke, if you love your family do not send them here. They abuse the patients and just let them rot in their beds. They don't pay attention to the residents, don't give them their food or medications as prescribed. I had a family member there and this is what my family and I went through. This place should receive 5 stars for abuse and neglet.

I can not express enough gratitude to everyone @ Bella Terra.Truly helped my mother from day one. She was admitted from the hospital in very poor condition, and stayed for 3 weeks. Private room, best caring staff, best admin to help during the stay, and after with helping get things set up after she was discharged. My dad who is 94 had a silent stroke a while ago. After releasing him from the hospital, he needed a physical therapy to gain back his strength, balance and independency so he was transferred to Bella Terra in Morton Grove. I was extremely worried and unhappy for my dad to be any place far from home for the first time ever especially at this age were he needs to be home loved and cared for. And due to some disturbing stories and reviews I heard and read I was really really worried and anxious. BUT, I have to say that Bella Terra not just proved me wrong also had me to be so thankful and grateful for their amazing care, kindness and professionalism they treated my dad and other residents with. When we arrived we were greeted by the case manager ( Kisha) that she was so kind and understanding. Then a manager ( Mariam Jedo ) stopped by to say hello and offer any help possible if needed especially my dad who speaks only Assyrian if he needs anything when we are not around. She gave me her cell number to get in touch when my dad doesn't answer his phone. I called her many times when I was worried about my dad who is not answering or he is feeling down she would go to his room talk to him, take him out for a walk or to the big room and call me from so we not just can talk but also to face time. and every time I thanked her she would reply in a very nice, sweet and kind tone " no need to thank me. Its my job" Mariam, I cannot thank you and your staff ( Shiella, Coleen, Maureen, Aby, Kim, Alan and all the nurses )( please forgive me if I forgot any names.) enough for all your care, kindness and all you do for the residence including my dad and their families. You guys are simply amazing and you take your job to the next level by all the extra steps that you take which is wayyyy beyond your job. I am forever grateful to you all. God Bless your hearts and bless you always.BTW, you guys do deserve a big appreciation raise for you truly make a difference.

My grandmother recently was a resident at Bella Terra and it was 10/10 experience. She received undivided attention and the staff listened to her needs. The dietary staff was attentive to her restrictions. The therapy staff was diligent in assisting on getting her back to walking. The nursing staff was friendly and easy to work with. The receptionist was kind and welcoming. Thank you to the staff for taking great care of her!

Bella Terra Morton Grove for my Mom was a great place for a short respite stay while my wife and I went out of town. Staff (nurses) were very attentive and caring. Employees Keisha, Glenda and Daphne were very efficient and caring when it came to my Mom being admitted and as well as being discharged. My Mom says that she would definitely go back to the facility.

Beware of all the five-star reviews. After speaking with several residents/patients here, I find it impossible to believe that those reviews are real. The facility is very short staffed, and there appears to be a constant revolving door. Errors occur. Physical therapy is very limited. Meals are very mediocre. Even on Thanksgiving - no turkey or any trimmings. Just a regular boring meal. Residents were extremely disappointed. Not only should a facility care for their medical needs, but also those aspects that affect quality of life and make a person feel like he/she matters. Big fail on Thanksgiving. Sad. Sends the message that they just don't care.

The facility has abused our grandmother. They have refused to allow us to transfer her. She had fallen and no one knew how long she was on the floor. This was within 4 days of her admission. They have her bed to the corner against a wall which is a restraint. Not one person can tell me why she’s on an air mattress. Her clothes are all missing. She’s in a broda chair without anyones consent or knowledge. They cut her hair without our knowledge. The responsible parties came in to discharge her and they called the police on the family and the police could not assist due to it being a civil suit. Meanwhile she continues to be abused and they refuse to send a referral packet over to another facility. They have an isolation bin in her room and she’s not On isolation. We’ve contacted the state and ombudsman and I hope they shut this place down. We are pursuing a lawyer as well for abuse neglect and kidnapping. Do not send your mother or father or loved one here. The administrator is very nasty and manipulative. She denied us every contacting them and stated her staff is perfect yet all of them are on Netflix and YouTube on a memory care unit and allowing abuse to happen to these poor elderly helpless people. Someone needs to stop them.

This place is a complete dump. It should be shut down by the state. My father was brought here because he had knee surgery. They took him out of his bed at Elmhurst Hospital way too soon. He should have been at the hospital a few more days.Where to start ? My father sat in a wet bed all night because apparently the night staff doesn’t do squat. Every time he hit the button to call a nurse it would be a minimum half hour before they responded. His food was constantly cold and bland. Every time I was here to see him, the alarms at the nurses Station were going off constantly while 4-5 people were just sitting around gossiping.Don’t give me the standard response to call to discuss these issues. You can kiss both sides of my behind. Bella Terra will be reported to the State of Illinois on Monday. Good day to you.

This place is the reason that my grandma has been bedridden and unable to do anything for herself - or even communicate - for like the past 5 years.I sincerely hope they're in better shape now but I doubt that they have turned around.

Bella Terra Morton Grove for my dad was a great place for his rehab. Physical Therapy and Staff (nurses) we're very attentive and caring. My dad needed physical therapy for 2 months which they worked very hard in making him stronger. Employee - (Malekia B.), The Adimmision Director was very efficient and caring when it came to my dad when being admitted and as well as leaving the facility after his rehab. Malekia B.is a true gem to your facility. She was the most caring and courteous employee. My dad would definitely go back to the facility.

My ex husband went there after suffering two strokes. This facility didn't look bad and due to the covid I wasn't allowed upstairs so I don't know about the facility inside. They did not help him. Instead his iPhone was stolen and a ceramic Christmas tree I brought him just disappeared. It's a mystery. If you send someone there, check on them and their personal belongings often. They should be responsible for these things but it's unlikely anything will be done and they will continue to let this happen.
