I came here to say to shop for a few shirts I received for Christmas that are very nice I was having a anxiety attack and didn’t have anything to drink which was very much needed at the time or it goes into serious mode fast I ask the girl ( Devon ) at the counter for a bathroom and I needed water for my attack she directed me to another store without offering me water or any help at all , if one of my employees treated a person In This situation like this they would be fired , I could have had a much more serious issue within seconds , I went back and bought my shirt and I promise I will not return ever again and I will spread this experience to everyone I know , a medical emergency is a reason to be compassionate enough to offer help to anyone , discusting , by the reviews this store needs an employee and management overhaul , customers are the reason you get a pay check , where’s the respect gone to never again

Avoid this location. Not only will they not do an even exchange for the same item in a different size without reciept, they enjoy telling you this very rudely. Item purchased there as a gift. The tags are attached. Not looking for refund. Called corporate and they did say its up to manager. Called Yorktown location and they said no problem. It's far to drive to but guess I'll go there for exchange and future purchases. Last year I had a reciept and the tag which detatched as I tried item on and that was a huge problem too. Customer service at this store is trash. Buyer beware.

Needs new management. Slowest processing of sales in Illinois. Watched 6 people manning two sales registers with no sense of urgency. In my 20mins in the store on Black Friday I witnessed 50% of their customers give up waiting in line and leave. The stores reputation at this location continues to take a dive. The other major issue is their returns. Mostly all their problems stem from bad attitude toward the customer. How they're still in business is anyone's guess. Old Orchard isn't much better. I'd go online.

I was just told there are no public bathrooms that I had to go to TJ Maxx when I said that was a bad policy the salesperson told me to have a nice day I will not shop there again too bad I used to love that store

I was treated with such disrespect at this store by Christine. I've always had pleasant interactions in the past, but today definitely is making me have no desire of buying there again.

The manager, Gavin, is a chronic liar who doesn't care about you (the customer) or the staff that work there (they are frightened of him).
He blasts his music over the speakers to the point that you can't have a conversation with the staff. I asked him very politely if he could turn down the music for 30 minutes so I could shop with their staff. His answer is, "I'm the only one here, and I can't leave the floor." (I guess he doesn't consider the employee I am trying to talk to as a person). So, I finished with "if you happen to have a chance to go in the back, I would greatly appreciate it if you could turn it down for a bit."
Three times, he went in the back for 5 minutes at a tim (I guess he can leave the floor).
After purchasing many items I asked him, while I was leaving, what was the REAL reason he couldn't turn it down. He repeated the same lie. When I pointed out that he went in the back 3 times and that other staff are working (calling him out on his lie), then he says that "he has no reason" (he must like the power he has to tournament his staff).
When I tried to get an acknowledgment of his blatant lie, he could only reply with another lie. "I don't lie, I am an honest person." (Yet, another lie).
If only he had actually apologized for his lie, I wouldn't be writing this.
If you see this entitled, overbearing, primadonna, tell him that his staff should be running the store because they have more respect, compassion, and ethics in their little finger they he does in his entire carcass.
BTW, I have proof of his behavior recorded (I can prove my truth).

My recent visit to Eddie Bauer in Morton Grove left me thoroughly disappointed. Intent on purchasing merchandise worth over $168, I requested an extra bag for gift purposes from the cashier, Melissa. Unfortunately, Melissa, accompanied by an older lady who seemed to be the bagger, displayed unfriendly attitudes. Melissa bluntly stated, "We can't do that," and when I inquired about purchasing an extra bag, her sour expression made the interaction unpleasant. Unlike other well-known brands, Eddie Bauer seemed unwilling to accommodate even a simple request. The lack of customer-centric service led me to return all the purchased items, as I didn't want to support a store where customers are treated with such disregard. Avoid this Eddie Bauer location; the staff's sour and unpleasant demeanor overshadowed any desire to shop there.
