“We recently had our 17-year-old Chicago Dryer Ironer completely rebuilt. Equipment came out to the property, put together a proposal, parts were ordered, and the techs rebuilt the machine. It is quite and the sheets are coming out perfect. We will rebuild more equipment with them moving forward.”

“This was my first time taking anything to Lake City Cleaners on Oakton street in Evanston, and they were absolutely wonderful. From the greeting I received upon entering, to the service provided. I had 2 winter coats dry-cleaned, as well as having a tear in one of them repaired. The coats were handled with care and returned cleaner than when I purchased them new, and the repair was seamless!”

“First time here and I live 2 minutes away from here for 3 years. The owners are super nice and welcoming. My whites actually came out white and my colors actually look brighter not faded out. The prices are awesome and clothes look and smell amazing. Very clean and quiet. Where you actually put in the detergent, bleach and softener are super clean not full of mold and caked up detergents like other laundromats. Definitely found spot. A big thank you to the wonderful owners Veronica and jose welcomed me as soon as I walked in.”

“I can’t not believe how amazing Rob was, I came in with an emergency in the hopes of getting my sons shoulder pads fixed with in a few hours ( which I already new was an aggressive ask)
The seamstress was not in and Rob stepped in and used his amazing skills and helped fix my issue on the spot so that my son would have his shoulder pads for practice!!
This was above and beyond anything any place would ever do!!!

**Washing Machines**
The laundromat features various sizes of Dexter Commercial Washers to suit your load requirements:
* **Dexter T-300 (2x Basket):** $4.00 per load.
* **Dexter T-400 (3x Basket):** $5.25 per load.
* **Dexter Maxi Load (4x Basket / 600 series):** $6.50 per load.
* **Dexter Mega Load (6x Basket / 900 series):** $8.25 per load.
* **Dexter Magnum Load (1200 series):** $11.00 per load.
**Dryers**
There are two different types of dryer capacities available depending on your needs:
* **Standard/Medium Dryer:** $0.25 for 12 minutes.
* **Large Dryer:** $0.25 for 7 minutes.
### Payment Options
For convenience, the facility utilizes a pay card system. The card itself costs an additional $1, and it can easily be loaded with cash or other types of payment at the central kiosk. Traditional quarter slots are also available on the machines if you prefer.”

“I've been having to be on the move more lately so I've had to do laundry wherever is closest to me at the moment- that's made me appreciate this place a lot lot more!
1. The dryers work! A few might be out of commission sometimes but when they work, they're hot and dry your clothes. A lot of places i have to run the dryer for at least 30 mins and my clothes would still be damp.
2. The washers are clean. Other places have mold growing in the soap compartments.
3. They have rags and disinfectants for you to clean your folding area. This place was the first I've seen do that. Really appreciate it.

“A few weeks back we had a bad storm that shut off our power and we couldn't do laundry. Which we needed to do, especially for our kids cloths. They always get dirty within seconds...
Luckily Quickwash was open and even late so it was perfect for us. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner and he was truly amazing. Saying hello making conversation and even helping us every step of the way using his machines. Definitely will be going back not only when our power shuts off even on regular days!! Apologies for forgetting your name I have a bad habit of forgetting names… but you were amazing from start to finish!!!”

“Fair pricing, my clothes came back so much softer than I thought possible and some had horrific dirt stains and a giant wad of gum stuck to the pants leg ( when to camping music festival, so you can imagine how dirty) and the clothes looked and felt brand new like nothing ever happened. One time I saw a nice old lady out there struggling to open a pickle jar and I felt bad. I also talked with a middle aged man about his trauma regarding his late wife, which was sad. This Laundromat has been a definitive location that contributed immensely towards my personal growth. Throughout all the highs and lows, Joan's Family Pride has been there. Overall, this laundromat should be serving Norwood Park, NOT laundry world.”

“Nahrin was incredible. According to her my dress was one of the hardest she’s ever done. I don’t doubt it after the hours we spent together with her on her hands and knees ensuring every layers was the right length. Not only with my heels but the sneakers I’d be changing into for my reception. My dress uniquely had already come with a bustle and she made me a new one that was even better. I could not recommend her more. I also received my dress later than expected and had a tight turn around (started alterations in July for an August wedding). There were times I thought I wouldn’t have a dress however, Nahrin not only delivered she made sure everything was perfect. If I lived closer I would use her for every alteration. Not just because she is amazing at what she does but it was enjoyable to be with her! If you need anything altered especially a wedding dress go here.”

“Great experience, I dont dry clean many items but my son need his suit and another coat dry cleaned, hes in NYC and is coming home for his sister's wedding. I received a quick greeting ,felt welcomed I told the gentleman what I needed and he rang me up and told me it would be ready the next day after 3 pm.....great!
I picked up a day later and everything was great according to my son.”
