“Long overdue review post since Equipment International has helped us out so much over the past year. EI went above and beyond to get equipment in our facility and set it up for us. We had some washers that needed some settings changed, and they came right out. If we have questions, they are very responsive to them. These days, finding service-driven companies is not easy to do, and Equipment International is just that! Excellent service starts with the leader, and EI CEO Kyle leads an incredible team. “This was my first time taking anything to Lake City Cleaners on Oakton street in Evanston, and they were absolutely wonderful. From the greeting I received upon entering, to the service provided. I had 2 winter coats dry-cleaned, as well as having a tear in one of them repaired. The coats were handled with care and returned cleaner than when I purchased them new, and the repair was seamless!”

“I can’t not believe how amazing Rob was, I came in with an emergency in the hopes of getting my sons shoulder pads fixed with in a few hours ( which I already new was an aggressive ask)
The seamstress was not in and Rob stepped in and used his amazing skills and helped fix my issue on the spot so that my son would have his shoulder pads for practice!!
This was above and beyond anything any place would ever do!!!

Open 24-7. & the wash, dry, fold service is totally worth it if you have things to do! They fold everything perfectly. All the workers are kind. Great place if you don’t have laundry at home.”

“Life has been feeling a little overwhelming lately so getting my laundry washed and folded here has been a huge relief. Prices are super reasonable, they take drop offs every day until 9pm and everything comes back so nicely folded and wrinkle free. The owner/guy working the counter is also really pleasant.”

UPDATE AND WARNING: The best time to go is when they first open, at 6 AM! If you wait any later, you'll wait forever to get a dryer I promise you!!”

“This place is great. I have had many interactions with different people here. I used to go around to the side of the building and eat my slurpees on the chairs with my friends. One time I saw a nice old lady out there struggling to open a pickle jar and I felt bad. I also talked with a middle aged man about his trauma regarding his late wife, which was sad. This Laundromat has been a definitive location that contributed immensely towards my personal growth. Throughout all the highs and lows, Joan's Family Pride has been there. Overall, this laundromat should be serving Norwood Park, NOT laundry world.”

I brought them a pair of outdoor cushions that needed ties sewn on and they got them done quickly and economically--and even chose a matching color palette although I'd told them the ties wouldn't show and the color didn't matter. I will definitely use Princess again.”
“Nahrin was incredible. According to her my dress was one of the hardest she’s ever done. I don’t doubt it after the hours we spent together with her on her hands and knees ensuring every layers was the right length. Not only with my heels but the sneakers I’d be changing into for my reception. My dress uniquely had already come with a bustle and she made me a new one that was even better. I could not recommend her more. I also received my dress later than expected and had a tight turn around (started alterations in July for an August wedding). There were times I thought I wouldn’t have a dress however, Nahrin not only delivered she made sure everything was perfect. If I lived closer I would use her for every alteration. Not just because she is amazing at what she does but it was enjoyable to be with her! If you need anything altered especially a wedding dress go here.”

“Recently I use to go to laundromats were I was spending close to $15 a week on washing clothes,blankets and my towels. Because of that I decided to look for cheaper alternatives. I came across this location, because it’s close by and people said it’s cheap and it very much is. I paid $3 for a medium load and two towels and the clothes came out very well. They also predominately have Speed Queens and that’s something that made me stay here. In total my whole trip costed me $5 and I will be returning here from now on for EVERYTHING. Found my new spot and grateful that they keep the prices so low.”

I went to wash today Dec31-25 at 3:42. sorry to say when I came in I almost fell on a dam towel on the floor. All the dryers were taken . I asked the lady that works here . if she take on the clothes so I can dry my clothes. Sadly so say ?. There were two ladies that had clothes in the dryer and took some out and left the other dryers with clothes. I work and I am tired I went to go in and out. You should have sign everywhere if you leave and your clothes are in the dryer and they are finish you have to take them out. I will not be back . The lady in the service desk is not nice . Well two ladies came in after 20 minutes to take out their clothes.”

“Great experience, I dont dry clean many items but my son need his suit and another coat dry cleaned, hes in NYC and is coming home for his sister's wedding. I received a quick greeting ,felt welcomed I told the gentleman what I needed and he rang me up and told me it would be ready the next day after 3 pm.....great!
I picked up a day later and everything was great according to my son.”
