Richwell Market is a small but well-stocked Asian grocery store in the suburbs, described as a mini market with a large selection. It is a mainly Chinese-focused store that carries a great variety of Asian and primarily Chinese merchandise. While the store itself is jam-packed and small with narrow aisles and limited shelf space, it has everything needed for home-style cooking. Shoppers can find a wide array of ingredients, from dried mushrooms and red beans to cane sugar blocks for desserts, as well as festive items like mooncakes and bamboo leaf dumplings year-round. The frozen food section is quite extensive. There is also a live seafood and meat department with friendly staff and good quality. A significant highlight is the Jason BBQ's located inside the market, which sells freshly made BBQ food. This includes delicious and reasonably priced items like roasted duck, BBQ pork (char siu), roasted pork, soya chicken, beef stew, and salt baked cage-free chicken. The BBQ is considered very convenient for picking up cooked dishes. Prices throughout the market are reasonable and affordable. The parking lot is small, but street parking is available nearby. Overall, it is considered a solid, legit Chinese grocery and a good food market for the suburbs, reliably providing a wide selection for many years.
Small store with many good Asian food options. I love finding all the snacks I enjoy.
