“We were very pleased with Children's Bright Beginnings! My child attended there for almost 2 years before starting kindergarten. He seemed well-prepared for school, and I know his readiness is due in huge part to the work of the CBB team. It was affordable, and my child felt safe/comfortable there. They managed to not have any COVID outbreaks (or any other kind) during our time there, which was certainly not the case with our prior daycare facilities. We also appreciated the experience and consistency of the staff.”

“Edited to add that they’ve been increasing rates every six months “due to inflation” but the rate increase is significantly higher than inflation. Over the past year the rate has increase to an additional $100 per month.We’ve had my son enrolled here since just after the pandemic. He loves the classes the kids and definitely the teachers.I have a quick story about the impact they’ve had on him. One day my 4 year old was so mad at me he threatened to run away. (As all kids do at some point.) I asked him where he was going to go and he said school. I couldn’t help but find that to be the sweetest thing because it means he feels safe and at home at Mary Sears. We couldn’t ask for more!”

“Truly a wonderful place for our kids to learn, play and grow. Warm, friendly atmosphere starts with the greeting and often hugs from Miss Nancy - our kids look forward to them. Miss Judy, Miss Jan and the teachers really get to know each child and make them feel special. The sing/dance programs are a highlight and it is amazing to see all the kids grow and mature over the years. It is a wonderful place in our community and we are so grateful to have a safe and fun place that our kids enjoy.”

“We are so grateful to have found Dreamers Childcare! We moved to the area when our son was 10mths old and were very nervous knowing a move meant changing daycares. Picking the right daycare is an important decision and our expectations were high. Dreamers has been our biggest blessing! We can't say enough wonderful things about the teachers, community, communication, and overall high caliber of caregiving. We're currently expecting our second child and are thrilled they'll be going to dreamers as well.Communication is great. We love the smaller, community feel. The teachers plan a wide range of enrichment activities that are age appropriate, fun, and work on your child's development. “We have had a wonderful experience at Wee Care. My husband and I moved with our 2 1/2 yr old son from out of state and the director and teachers at Wee Care really helped with our transition. Our son also went through potty training during his time at this school and they were absolutely wonderful with that big milestone as well. There is no doubt they genuinely care for the students!”

Our oldest has thrived at RNS and loves engaging in daily outdoor play and environmental explorations. The teachers are deeply invested in the social and emotional development of each child. “I cannot say enough words to describe how amazing this school is. My 4 year old started his first year here and has grown leaps and bounds since the beginning of the school year. I love their nature based approach which lets the kids explore and discover the outdoors in their awesome fenced in playscape. Their philosophy of promoting independence, yet providing comfort and support is beautiful, and exactly what I searched for in a preschool. All the teachers and Directors at Covenant have been instrumental in my son's physical and emotional growth. “My daughter has been at Parkway North since she was an infant and she absolutely loves it. Watching her face light up when she sees one of the teachers or her friends makes me feel comfortable when dropping her off. The way they ensure the health and safety of the children is outstanding. As well, the app makes it easy for my husband and I to see what out daughter does on a daily basis and to show her curious grandparents. My daughter has definitelygrown tremendously since day one thanks to all of the amazing staff that have taken care of her since day one.”

“I had the most wonderful time at the Chicago Mosaic School last week taking a private jewelry class with my sister, and our instructor Kasey. I'd never done mosaic before, and was appreciative of the time spent in the first part of our class to learn the history of mosaic, basics of glass cutting, and seeing sample work in the studio. I walked away with 2 necklaces, and my sister made one. A beautiful studio and creative space. Highly recommend this studio for any level of interest in mosaic, or learning something new. Thank you to Lucy for helping to set up this private class on short notice!!”

“We have all 3 of our kids at Poko Loko and our kids are thriving, they love their teachers and staff. It is really unique to find a preschool with employee retention like Poko has. We love that we have gotten to know so many teachers over the years and having them be our teachers again as our younger twins move up! And Poko is especially magical in the spring and summer with its flowers, bright colors and things for kids to explore. Cannot speak more highly about the school, teachers, and community developed here!”

“We were in a different daycare prior to Covid, and its abrupt closure has had us make the switch to Goddard. It is a wonderful school, that is very well run by its owners. The teachers seem happy to be there, and our daughter has been thriving in this nurturing environment. There are a lot of extra activities included in the cost, such as music, special gym classes, and Spanish, as well as events for the families. Highly recommend!”

“Millie's house was our daughter's first daycare experience, starting when she was 18 months old. She quickly developed a deep affection for the place. The teachers at Millie's house are incredibly loving and caring. Every time we drop her off, she confidently walked in on her own and excitedly shared the names of her friends when she returned. It's evident that she found joy and happiness there. We particularly appreciated the great connection she formed with Diana and Branda. Unfortunately, we had to leave this wonderful daycare due to relocation, but we wholeheartedly recommend it to all parents!”

We were very nervous how the transition would go for our son who was born right at the start of COVID but through their gentle transition into school, he’s thriving. The teachers at Mary Meyer are the absolute best, they are highly qualified, truly know children, have such fun and engaging activities, but most importantly they are kind. Not only do we love the school but my son looks forward to it every day. The amount of information (and tons of pictures!!!) we receive as parents is phenomenal. The activities are very purposefully curated and spark such excitement and learning. I love that my son walks into school with a huge smile, is smiling and giggling throughout his play, and leaves smiling, often covered with bits of paint and glitter from all his adventures.”

“I have been quite happy with all of the Staff at Kidswork. They communicate information well, provide daily photos and frequent updates/memos, and they provide a ton of different activities(which rotate throughout the week) that my son learns from and talks about after school.The original selling point for me was that you can choose what days of the week you child attends, from 2 to 5 days. This was his first daycare/preschool at three years old and I have been surprised at how quickly he adjusted to the change and grew to love going to school.I would recommend this daycare/preschool for any age based on my experience.”

“Wonderful little school for the past 3+ years. Our kids started here when they were 3 years old, knowing no French. Within two years they were fluent. The teachers are amazing. The kids are able to learn at their own pace, without growing bored or frustrated by moving too slow or too fast in the subject matter. Being closely involved with students of different ages has encouraged independence and confidence, and has taught them how to help and patiently play with younger kids plus be at ease with older kids. The teachers are warm and engaged, the children are happy and thriving, and leadership takes an active role in the community and promoting early childhood education. To top it off, tuition is shockingly low compared to other daycares in the area. Above and beyond all expectations and highly recommended.”
