“We've had a great pre-k experience at FTCNS. The teachers are incredibly experienced and they truly take a personal interest in each child. The classroom space is bright, beautiful, clean, and engaging. The school community is very warm and creative; we especially love the special events that the school holds like the annual Fall Fest and the Open Gym playtimes which are a lifesaver during the cold winter months.”

“Yeah there's a friends of Bill W meeting that meet down here on Sunday nights. It's a nice place. It's an old giant huge church. You know comfortable inviting. Convenient to the number 82 Kimball home and bus at Foster and Kimball and Kimball and Berwyn and also the number 92 Foster bus. He can get off that bus at Spaulding and Foster and Kimball and foster. The number 93 California Dodge bus runs on Sundays through saturdays. It's convenient to the neighborhood.”

“Sending my son De’Mario Jr. to The Nook has been one of my proudest decisions. At first I was skeptical about having him attend a daycare. I’ve heard bad stories about daycares in general and I didn’t feel like it would be a good move to send my first son to one. One day a friend came over for a play date and informed me about The Nook and how influential they are to the progress her son has been making. Her perception of The Nook had my mind blown away. I had noticed the changes in her son and didn’t know The Nook played such a vital role in it. Still a little hesitant I had to see for myself so my partner and I decide to apply for our baby boy to attend The Nook. If I told you guys this place exceeded my expectations, that would be an understatement. The Nook has so many different factors that makes it stand out from other daycares. From circle time to music time to already getting my infant son’s brain familiar with foreign languages, The Nook really amazes me. On top of that, the love that has been shown from their employees.”Teachers”, is out of this world. Ms. Emily, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Tiana are just a few names that really have become like an extended family to us. Our son is genuinely attached and that comes from such a loving, caring environment. The Nook also has a app called brightwheel, which is probably one of my favorite parts, that allows the teachers to upload detailed posts about my son’s day including pictures of the time he is having while he’s away from me. As a parent I would say I 100% recommend The Nook to any other parents that are looking for such a place for their children. You won’t be disappointed. I would give more stars if I could lbs.”

“Heavenly experience! Where do I begin? The class teacher, Sue, is a thought provoking mentor. She is the Tim Gunn of the Chicago Mosaic School, and I mean this in the highest regard possible.

Taking a class in this space is the equivalent of being in “The Chocolate Factory”. (Come with me, and you’ll see, a world of true imagination). A color prism of glass sheets. Milky Italian smalti. All shapes, sizes, and textures of slates, stones and beach pebbles. All the doodads one could imagine!

The location to CTA transport is ideal. Also, there are multiple food spots within a block of the studio.

I flew into OHare airport, and took the L train Blue line to bus 152, which dropped me off a block from my accommodations. It cost me 25$ to get around the city for 7 days (I purchased the weekly pass on my first trip into the city). I stayed at the Wrigley Hostel, which is a block off the Addison redline. Great price for a secure location, and ideal for me since I spent most of my time at class anyway, and just needed a place to rest my head at night. Also some great food nearby (Cozy Noodle is about 5 houses down).
10/10 experience! I am already browsing the website for my next class!

“We can't speak highly enough of this daycare. The staff and teachers at North Elston Kindercare have been so kind and flexible. They were accommodating from day one for our child's socioemotional needs -- our occupational therapist who visits our child at school speaks very highly of them too. On top of the learning and care our family receives here, they plan a ton of fun activities like bubble parties, soccer, and water days. Our child comes home happy and talks about her friends and teachers all the time!”

“We love Green Bean!! After touring nearly every daycare in the LP area we knew Green Bean was the perfect fit for our now 15 month old daughter. My husband and I had zero jitters dropping her off on the very first day (3 months old) thanks to Ms. Chloe and Ms. Alicia in N1. All the staff and teachers here are genuinely happy, with smiles on their faces during pickup and drop off. They’re also incredibly communicative, nurturing, and we especially love that they treat every baby in the classroom like their own. Being a reggio emilia school, the staff puts a heavy emphasis on getting outdoors as much as possible each day. They also have a music class for the kids each week in their movement studio. Our daughter comes home content, with new skills that she’s excited to show off. She is now thriving in the Young Toddler classroom with Ms. Ashley, Ms. Deborah, and Ms. Anna and feels perfectly at home with all of them. Also, not sure what magic they are cleaning with, but my daughter is never sick. GB feels like home, and we’re both grateful and excited to keep growing as a family here. Best choice we’ve made as a family :)”

“We were searching for a Russian speaking daycare with great food options for our child and Children's Land caught our eye. Even though there is no Russian speaking group in this location, my child's language skill improved so much due to listening to Ukrainian and practicing Russian at home. The child adjusted nicely to the daycare and made so many friends there. There are different activities for kids every day, including singing, painting and dancing. Honestly, couldn’t be happier ?”

“This is an overdue review, but I know I needed to share! We were only with the Whipple location for two months (September-November 2025) while we waited to a seat to open at a closer Concordia Place location. I was very anxious as this was my first time away from my 2 month old, but the teachers and staff at Whipple were amazing. In particular, Ms. Kristen and Ms. Cha’Nay treated my baby like their own. They genuinely seemed to love her. We seriously contemplated staying at this location because of how great they were, but couldn’t justify commute. All of this to say, we highly recommend the staff and facilities at Whipple!”

“My 3-year-old son has been attending this daycare for almost two years, and we absolutely love it here. He has learned so much academically and socially . He knows his alphabet in sign language, can write his name, is learning addition, and even comes home talking about Black historical figures he’s learned about in class.

“Our family loves Lily Pad! Before starting my daughter at Lily Pad, I had transferred her my from a previous daycare because she was having a difficult time with being comfortable there and would often have drop off refusal. However, at Lily Pad it was like night and day. The teachers and director were so supportive and caring, and my daughter felt comfortable at Lily Pad fairly quickly. She has been at Lily Pad for 2 years and she loves every minute of it, from her teachers, to the daily activities, to the new friends she has met along the way. My daughter has also learned so much from Lily Pad. Lily Pad teachers do an excellent job at providing much needed life skills and educational skills to prepare children for their developmental milestones and their future schooling. Additionally, the school is very cleanly and the teachers/director are excellent at communication. The school also provides lots of fun activities and experiences for your littles, such as family events and field trips. As a parent, it can be very difficult to feel at ease with others taking care of your child, but at Lily Pad I 100% know that she is in wonderful and loving care. If you are searching for a daycare/school for your child look no further than the Lily Pad school!”

We’ve had our boys in at least every one of their types of classes (infant through Pre-K) and I’ve been impressed with the quality of the teachers and how much they care about our students.
