They can be mean but of friend of mind was able to get his car back and that is wonderful had to come up with cash but people been there car for work so thanks a lot it was on a Saturday as well

Had some body work done on my car. Afterwards my car would lose power and turn off. Toyota later diagnosed a wiring issue with the ground wires secured by coated screws. The screws used by Service King were incorrect and did not conduct electrical current, causing my car to turn off.Service: Body & Trim

This service is a mistake. They fixed my Venza. Work looks horrible, you don’t even want to look at it. Stains, and the new color is different from a new one. I don’t not recommend at all.

Rear ended on the 4th of July (2021) The reason for the rating is due to the following events. I was rear ended on the 4th of July last year (whilst on Lake Shore Dr.) by a guy who was clearly coked out, he had white powder around his nostrils. Anyway, we decided to go to Service King due to past, favorable service at Lin Mar (located at the same location). The front desk employee was professional and the estimate was thorough. After getting another estimate from a competitor, we felt comfortable with selecting Service King. I specifically told the employee that there was a rattling in the rear bumper area and she said that when they take the bumper apart, they will see where the rattle is. They were replacing a portion of my bumper too. After waiting about 3 weeks, my parts had arrived and they were ready for my car. When I dropped it off, I reminded the rep. of the rattling in the rear bumper area. She said they'll find out once they take it apart for further inspection. In about two weeks, my car was ready and I told the mgr. to double check to make sure the rattling was gone. He called back and said it was my license plate frame which surprised me because it never rattled before. When I picked up my car, I was disappointed that the rattle was still there. Also, upon further inspection, I realized that they just painted my bumper but did not replace any parts, even though I had paid for the parts and service. I called him back and he acknowledged that the bumper replacement had not been done. I finally came back later in the afternoon and the part was installed and the rattle was gone. Note: I had missed additional time at work due to this back and forth. The car looks great but was I satisfied with the service? Not entirely. I will give them the benefit of the doubt but for such a simple job, I would have reservations going back for anything more complex. Bottom line, if they had fixed the rattle, I would not have inspected the bumper more carefully. And if I had not inspected the bumper, I would not known that they did not replace the bumper. I guess my question is, would they have kept the part and kept the money for the labor? I think this would be a zero rating for integrity.

Did not have a good experience here. This location was the first to pop up through my insurance for their guaranteed shops for an estimate. I was able to schedule an appointment the following Tuesday morning from Easter Sunday. Brian was professional but too cut throat for me. I went in with a smile and I walked out with frustration. I don't know if they realized I was also insured with State Farm as I was also going through State Farm through the other individual's insurance who hit me. Either way, I didn't walk away with a good interaction. I was hit to my d/s rear panel on Easter Sunday by another State Farm driver. The damage was rough but having been familiar with the car insurance industry I thought this would be a quick and painless interaction for a 5 min estimate. Brian started off with "problem" and I immediately asked what. He went on long tangents about the parts being delayed (understandable) and how there is evidence of pre-existing damages in that exact area I was hit. I already knew he wasn't pulling my chain because I noticed on the day of the accident that the back tail light that was blown out was a used part because it had yellow lettering on the back; something you would never ever see unless it was knocked out. I told him I did figure that but those damages had nothing to do with me and I wasn't aware that the previous owner had an accident in that area. EITHER WAY IT DOES NOT MATTER SINCE MY OWN INSURANCE IS STATE FARM AND THEORETICALLY NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PAYMENTS OTHER THAN MY DEDUCTABLE which was being sent to me by State Farm since I was deemed not at fault. The point being, it didn't matter. If this car was repairable (and not a total loss) then repairs need to be done either way. I asked them their opinion and they said "we can't make that decision we don't know; it's State Farm who makes that decision." The other guy he was with asked me, "are you trying to get this repaired?" Uhhh yes, the entire purpose of me being here for this estimate at 8:00 in the morning... They then said that they weren't the ones who write the estimate and make zero decisions and it's all StateFarm. My biggest stink was with my insurance company/StateFarm who did not handle this properly. However, the fact they matched with this shop who was very hands off-even when I had to call Brian was like "well we sent the photos that Wednesday and we haven't heard back from StateFarm (Friday) and they're the ones who make the decision not us." I understand these guys only have so much control but the way they were looking at the vehicle while heavily implying things without really knowing anything or able to make any decisions and only responsible for taking pictures (something I could have done myself and sent to StateFarm instead of wasting all of our time) and having nothing to do with the actual estimate itself while also implying it may or may not be repairable but they can't make any decisions or they have no idea how they're going to handle it and couldn't really tell me anything without looks of stress in their faces, concerned tone of voice and overall feeling of "what the f***** left me with more frustration than ease. I finally got the estimate without a call (from my insurance) and payment sent to me. No mention of these "pre-existing" damages and no follow-up. Not going to bother taking it back for repairs and going through hoops for the miscommunication and delays between this shop and StateFarm which has now caused even more delays getting my car repaired. The communication between this shop and StateFarm is terrible. Do not go here for an estimate or repairs.

The service I had with Service King is comparable to no other. We received our quote in a matter of hours, followed by the parts being ordered the next day. After the parts had been received by Service King, I dropped off my car, and they fixed it in under 3 days. The finished product was spectacular, they clearly pay very close attention to detail and arguably did a better paint job than the original manufacturer. This shop is the best around, I will definitely be coming back.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Unfortunately my parked vehicle was struck by a drunk driver but that's where the bad luck ended. Allstate referred Service King as their preferred body shop. Now I see why. They provided an ETA which they surpassed and gave me daily updates. I can't say enough accolades for the DeerPark and Morton Grove locations. They absolutely ROCK! Trust that they will take care of you and your car.

My car, FIAT 2016 500X, was looking very bad from the back and passenger back door! Service King made my car the way I bought it! My remote starter is back working as well! They even cleaned my car inside out! They text me updates and other things that they saw needed fixing and pricing. The person who hit my car insurance company picked this place as one of their repair locations!This business really value their customers! My picture is 2 days later after I picked my car up❤️?

They did an amazing job fixing my car after someone hit me. Not only did they fix my car but got it back to me faster than estimated and cleaned out my car, washed waxed and tire shined it for when I picked. They went way above and beyond my expectations.
