7905 Golf Rd, Morton Grove“My husband has been bringing me home Slice Shop everyday since he found the place. We have another favorite pizza place in the area but think Slice Shop just might top it! The other day he told me they have subs next door. My husband brought me the Italian, I was hooked. Today we actually went in and dined in. I got my sandwich and he got his pizza, we both got what we wanted all in one spot. The grocer has so many items and is way bigger than it looks on the outside. New favorite place!”

2195 Willow Rd, Glenview“Not a regular Aldi shopper, went with a friend. So if some observations are "standard Aldi" you'll know that. Newer store, very bright and clean. Wide aisles very nice for navigating the wide carts. I realized that they basically don't carry typical American brands, it's private label or something like that. My friend needed mostly produce, and the selection & quality were good. There was no stock out for a deep-discount item she came for. The seasonal aisle was unkempt but had an interesting variety. Stealth hit: Winking Owl wine...quaffable and dirt cheap. I was happy to learn that they accept credit cards (you still need a physical quarter if you want a cart!). But there were no pack-your-own boxes when we checked out, happily my friend had a lot. Overall pricing was sharp, and tho selection was limited, I didn't feel like I was shopping in a heavy-discount place.”
“Honestly I work at a grocery store myself, but I decide to go to George’s store because he’s just a honest and amazing and trustworthy man. He is always kind to my dad and me and even his other customers. I most definitely recommend everyone shop here, and the prices are not bad at all here compared to other stores.”
“Overall Thoughts: Carnicerias Guanajuato is a nice Mexican grocery store in the Wicker area with a little restaurant tucked in the back. It carries a solid range of Mexican staples, brands, snacks, and ingredients, and the staff are really kind and friendly. The restaurant is counter-serve with a well-sized seating area, and had a wide variety of meat options, from ox tongue tacos to beef jerky tortas to chorizo burritos. (However, the vegetarian options were a bit lacking in creativity / depth). By the time I went at ~6:30pm though, they were out of both ox tongue and beef jerky, so I’ll have to go earlier next time to try those. The prices are reasonable and affordable in both the restaurant and store, and you can use either cash or card.Food I tried:- Lomo Encebollado Torta (4/5): The torta bread was a little stale / not super fresh, but the meat was good and flavorful. Especially for the price (<$8), it was a very solid meal.—Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5Ambience: 4.4/5Service: 4.8/5Overall Value: 4.4/5”

1365 Lee St, Des Plaines“Always busy, and have everything I need, once in awhile they do run out of products, but everyday I think a truck comes in the morning, so morning shopping is more reliable, to have your products, but it has only happened a hand full of times.A little slow at the cash register, lines can be long, at other Aldi's they have self serve, thos is so convenient. I hope they change this place to have both.”

2431 W Montrose Ave, Chicago“I have only been inside Aldi once since I have lived in Chicago. I'd never heard of them before since they aren't on the west coast, but I know they're popular here and in Europe... but I could never get into them. I was also put off by the deposit required for carts, since I don't usually carry cash and stuff. It didn't help that the one I went to was kinda dirty and gross. Anyway, this store has been here for what, a decade? Something close at least since I remember when it was under construction. Today I went in because a friend tipped me off to one of their special Aldi deals that she thought my little one would like. They didn't have the item (though she schooled me in the Aldi ways and customs, so now I know I actually have to go tomorrow to see if they have the dress-up princess shoes I'm looking to buy and put away for a few years. The store was really clean and modern-looking, unlike the one that I went to many years ago. It looked bougie, even. I didn't have much of a chance to look around because I was on my lunch break and was lugging around a sleeping baby in a car seat, but I would be interested in taking a look around sometime. Or possibly more accurately, using their app because they do curbside pickup. That surprised me; I'm used to budget grocery stores (my mom has worked at Grocery Outlet for more than 20 years) and since these type of stores have rotating merchandise, they're not always keen to do something like curbside with items so in flux. But Aldi's going to save me a few bucks AND not make me actually go in and grocery shop, one of my least favorite activities? Ok, you've gained a customer.”
“Fast check out. Much better prices than other stores, great variety and organic options. Prefer many of the Aldi versions than brand name items. Fun household and assorted shoes and apparel department including electronics, health, exercise equipment. Great store. All employees have a great attitude, especially Maggie who has been there for years and knows her regulars.”
“This is a great store i have been going here for 20 years i grown up here We have wasted money on this the prices are great and have good snacks for kids it's wonderful there!”
“They offer catering services for South Indian foods. Great tasting food and very good quality. Great customer service as well. They offer ready to go packages for some food items such as biriyani, butter chicken, samosas and many more. There is also an Indian store where you can buy many Indian spices and food items.”
“I really appreciate the fact that I can get everything I need here and be out within a few minutes. Prices are great and the employees are always very friendly.”
“This place is a hidden gem for newcomers, but the people who have lived here its a staple in the neighborhood.Small place, tight parking, BUT, All worth it. Store offers fresh main dishes, hummus ( homemade) faleffel ( 10 star ), and various other signature treats.Good selection for Groceries if needed. The Main attraction is, I believe his name is Zyhid ( I hope I spelled it right ), think he is the owner, if not the manager, nevertheless treats you like a human being and has respect for everyone, bravo to you sir.I will be a frequent guest at your store! Two words Thank you!”

6520 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago“When it comes to ALDI, I'd say this is a typical location. Has the basic needs, minus additional frills. Self checkout is usually quick, but it is for card/ebt payment only. Lines are average to long but move quickly (they take cash payments).Cons: They seem to often be out of basic staples.Pros: Quick. Convenient. Lower prices than many other supermarkets.Overall: Go for the basics, leave with the finds. Would recommend.”
“They have everything you need at one store. I switched from plastic bottled water to glass bottled water and it's a huge difference and this place has a variety. My favorite is Panna and Saratoga, flat water only. !! The meats are good I mean everything is expensive because of Joe Biden chicken used to be a lot cheaper than it is now ! That jerko is Almost out of office OK let's get back to the store I shop here quite a few times a month I'm very happy and I will be a continue shopper here, check is nice and easy! people are nice too everything you want you could get at one store”

7300 N Western Ave, Chicago“So happy I went here! I went here for a few produce and grocery items but also got lunch. They serve hot lunch/dinner plates by the pound! I got 1/2 pound of their delicious, succulent carnitas, some roasted sweet potatoes in a sweet, sticky syrup and julienne roast vegetables for around $12. There was enough food for two people. So delicious! Each item on the hot table is available to purchase separately by the pound and there are plenty of entrees and sides to choose from. They have plenty of people behind the counter to serve the hungry crowd, so the wait is minimal. A must stop for delicious Mexican food on the go. I highly recommend Morelia.”

“I’m so excited after my friends told me about this place. Visited last Sunday and never disappointed! Yes there are more like Asian stuffs but I’m okay with it. The price is good, the product line is various. They have a lot of discounts and promotions going on now. The place is clean, cashiers are friendly and helpful. Recommend!”
“I like going shopping at Aldie. There’s always a wonderful selection of food and fruits are always fresh. However, this particular Aldie was a little bit messy in a complete disarray and some of their shelves. I realize I was most probably done by other customers.”
