I love Alwan Pharmacy! No matter the interaction with them, they are always kind & very helpful. They always give that little bit of Xtra to their clients!

we sat at the drive-thru window for 23 minutes before being seen. after being seen at the window, there was no acknowledgment of how long we had waited. it took another 10 minutes for them to get back to the window just to tell us they did not have the medication. in the meantime, there was one poor car trapped behind us and cars behind that car kept leaving to just walk inside, surely to wait in a forever long line in there as well. the lady that "took care" of us was unpleasant.

I went to Alwens yesterday to pick up a prescription and Jessica waited on me she is the ultimate customer representative for Alwans it was the best experience I've ever had with them. So I wanted to give her a shout out good job and thank you for making me feel appreciated as a customer.

I just wanted to give a shout out to one of your technicians, Jessica. I meant to leave this review a while ago but after having a baby, I got busy. She has gone above and beyond for me so many times. I am on a couple of medications that often have an insurmountable amount of red tape. Sometimes they're not in stock. Other times, you have to fight insurance over every refill. Never once in that time frame has Jessica ever made me feel like I was a bad person for being on these medications. She's never chastised me or looked at me sideways. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into the local Walgreens or CVS and been treated like other trash because of my medications. I always like to remind those places, would you be rude to an overweight customer picking up diabetes medications? So then why would you treat somebody like me who is being prescribed medication and overseen by a very well-respected doctor?I recommend your pharmacy to anybody else that has had my experiences with other big box places. Please do not ever let go of Jessica. She's never ever made me feel like I'm a hassle. She's always returned my calls. Always delivered and always done exactly what she said she was going to do. You will not find that very often in the workplace.Thank you so much Jessica!

I would like to compliment one of your staff members, Jessica. It is always a pleasure to see her at the drive up window. She always brings a helpful attitude and is so friendly. I have a son with an intellectual disability, and when he’s with me, she always takes the time to acknowledge him.

Usually well organized, sometimes I get a recorded call telling me my prescription is ready and when I get to the drive thru I'm meet with d*** looks and apologies. Oh, and the price for refills shifts from refill to refill, they tell me it's insurance changing what and how much they'll cover. Although at the same time I haven't changed prescriptions, company or policies and haven't been notified of any changes in my coverage. They told me they do not participate in Good RX, I didn't know this was allowed.

Owner used to be more friendly, time has made him either grouchy or greedy or both. Counter associate asked him if he had a better price on a drug since it was a cash transaction, he said not for another pharmacies sloppy seconds, all within earshot of me. Guess he didn’t have the courage to tell me to my face…no worries, I’ll never be back. Plenty of places to get an Rx filled, you don’t have a monopoly there Mike. And don’t bother to reply with a post saying this is a misunderstanding or a learning experience to grow from, you are the owner… shame on you. For everyone else’s sake, hope you retire soon.

These girls out front, I tell ya. Do they hire them with the requirements that they're tacky and rude to patients who aren't senior citizens? Erica was definitely making fun of me and laughing at me when I called back after being hung up on. I've been using Alwan long enough that these issues shouldn't be issues anymore. I've had so many problems with them reaching out to me, when I KNOW they reach out to my gramma and aunt. One script doesn't get covered by ins and every mo it seems to be questioned, but no one ever calls. I've repeatedly asked for autorefill and it doesn't happen. I just don't get it. Guys in the back are knowledgeable and have had good manners, it's too bad they're not the ones representing the company. I guess I should go back to CVS or Walmart where I at least don't get made fun of for being 43 with arthritis and cervical radiculopathy. Effin ridiculous Alwan.

Usually very friendly but my interaction today with Ashley was less than stellar. I'm working out of town and get back too late to pick up my prescription. I asked her to mail it and she told me that's not something they usually do. She had a dozen questions that were really none of her business about my schedule or when I got back to town or if I could pick it up. Not what I expect when I have a request

Not the best experience, I use to really like this place but when the pharmacist starts acting like a gate keeper to the access of your medication is when I draw a line. I sure hope they get things figured out.

Everyone always speaks so highly of Alwan, we’ll I am horribly disappointed. I got my first prescription from Alwans at the Peoria location. My medication had to be compounded, so I had no choice. When I picked this up they told me I could renew the prescription online and choose which pharmacy I wanted. My husband works right across the street from the Morton location, so I got online last night and filled out the prescription form and left a comment with the time I wanted to pick up. While at work, I missed a call from the pharmacy. As you can see below they had already begun helping another customer at the beginning of the voicemail. They didn’t refer to me at all. You can hear the clients name, her prescriptions, the doctors name, etc. This is a hardcore violation of a patients rights and privacy. Note, they didn’t refer to me at all in this voicemail. I blew it off and went about my day. I showed up to the pharmacy at the agreed upon time, and the young man (pretty sure the same man from the voicemail) came to the window and informed me that I am not a client and they have nothing for me. The pharmacy’s are not connected. That’s why Peoria told me I could have it filled there, the website said I could have it filled there, and your advertisements (shown below) list information for both pharmacies. If that is the case, why did you have my phone number and why was I told that I could have it filled there? He had no answers just told me we would have to fill out a transfer form. I said fine, this still doesn’t make since. Can I get that still filled tonight? He said he would try but probably not. I left and went home and called to ask for a supervisor who told me the compounding lab had already left for the day, but she could see if they had a couple, but there’s no delivery driver either. So, now I have no medication, another customers personal information instead of a message telling me it wasn’t being filled, and a horrible experience on top of it. I’ve never received worse service from anywhere. It’s truly a shame that this is the only place I can get my medication, and the pharmacy can’t even provide it when ordered or keep customers information private. If you value your health information, and health in general, I suggest staying away from them.
