If your gonna have a call center don't let the ai voice on the hold line lie to me and tell me someone is busy on the other end and then hours later disconnect me when you close. All the while prompting me to press a bloody button every few minutes to keep from getting disconnected in the first place. What kind of customer service is that. Just tell me there is no one on the other line who cares to answer and be honest. Wow.

Ever since they bought out my small town bank there have been problems. Whether it be ATM's randomly not working- sometimes for days or their app not working- usually for days they're just not reliable. The issue that finally made me close my accounts is the fact that I haven't had any fraudulent activity yet haven't had access to my money in over a month. I've called many times only to be told I don't have fraud, the other person didn't know what they are talking about and that they don't have access to look, but I still didn't have any fraudulent activity. They eventually sent me a new card but with the same number so it still doesn't work... I wanted to support local, but went with a big bank this time- money isn't something I can just not have access too.

I’m just wondering how many people this happens too…. We had a couple fraudulent charges on our account, immediately we contacted the bank and cancelled our card! After maybe a two day review, Dennis at the East Peoria branch claimed the charges we legit because they had our card info! Neither one of us authorized the charges (hence the reason for cancelling the card)! We called the number of the place that took the money and it isn’t even a legit phone number, you aren’t able to get in contact with anyone! It just hangs up when you call! So basically because Dennis sees nothing wrong here we just lost over $100 for nothing! Looks like we will be finding a different bank! Do better Morton Community Bank!

Ive watched as employees yell at elderly customers for a mistake the employee made. Ive been victim first hand of this mistreatment. Ask a question and you are WRONG. Online banking site works maybe 3 days a week. Still using paper forms at the bank. Staff constantly blames others for mistakes. They treat you like they are not benefitting from your money. Im a disabled veteran and they treat me like garbage. I wont even take my wife there, im white shes not. Terrible bank even more terrible staff. Peoria illinois sites.

Morton has several different buildings that say Morton Community Bank but only one that has tellers. After wasting 20 minutes finding the right building I went in to get a renewal sticker. Gave my information, insurance, and license. After another 10 minutes the teller said I couldn't get the sticker because I don't have an account there. They were going to charge $8 service fee even if I did. Other banks don't require an account. Don't waste your time. The bank is extremely outdated and dirty looking, not the kind of place I would trust with my finances.

Always friendly and courteous employees with Morton Community Bank. Although I consider banking just another chore, the employees there at least make it a pleasant chore.

Very competitive with our home loan and won our business. Super friendly staff and always exceeding expectations. Detail oriented and they've always had all the paperwork accurate and ready to go. It should also be noted that this bank is very generous to the community and participates in all kinds of non-profit events and fundraisors. Good honest, genuine people.
