Took almost 3 weeks just to get my mailbox lock changed, and didn’t once think to hold my mail for pickup at the post office despite knowing I couldn’t open the mailbox. Service at the front counter is very unhelpful also, the same person is always there and didn’t attempt to get me any help. Just a very curt “the lock hasn’t been changed yet.” Don’t bother calling the phone number either, it is just a robot phone operator. Very sad state of affairs for the USPS.

I get tired of packages being put in my mailbox that are too big! There are a couple of larger "boxes" at the apartment complexes mailbox, but some reason the "joker" who delivers on Walnut Street thinks it cute to put packages that are too big for my mailbox in my regular mailbox and I have to use a knife to tear up the box so I can bend it up and fold it to get my package out. This happens way to often and it makes me angry! It's unacceptable! Either put a larger package in the bigger box, or leave it outside of my apartment door, but do not cram packages in my mailbox that are bigger than the hole for me to pull them out of! For what postal employees are paid, I expect much better than this!

The 5 stars are not for the post office itself but for Jared Sellers who went above and beyond finding my tracking number after I lost the receipt.

I live in the country, and they've always been very nice about coming on into the driveway and leaving packages in our garage. Friendly service as well.

Mt. Carmel post office will not deliver packages to my house because it is "out of their route" since my mailbox is in a mailbox bank with a totally separate subdivion of houses that I am not a part of. I pay my shipping and handling fees but then have to pick up my own packages from the post office 15 miles in town if they do not fit in the oversized mailbox. Very disappointing service!
