Over two hours for tire rotation with an appointment. What does one have to do to get reasonable turnover time? Might consider a different place to get tires from in the future. Been happy so far and love the tires, but I’m still waiting.

First time turned away even with appointment , gave the benefit of doubt .. second time tire rotation takes around 2 hours with appointment.. the manager does not have a clue or answers ..

i had a huge tire lodged into my tire and it was 30 minutes before closing. patrick was able to take my car in and fix it— thank goodness!! can’t thank the team enough for their service. 10/10!!!

Very poor customer service at the tire center. Went there today for a torque check. New wheels were mounted on Monday and need torque check 25 miles after service. I asked for them to change the tire pressure won’t do it, he said it’s normal. Went inside Costco to talk to someone at the desk and was told I can just pull up at front and they’ll change the tire pressure. I told him what happened outside when I first pull up and he said there’s nothing he can do because he was not part of the conversation. Went outside again and the same guy who checked torque said I can change the tire pressure myself.

Purchased tires through Costco online store. I made an appointment for tire installation. On the appointed day I came to the service center for installation and I was told that I was not registered. I showed them the assignment. And they tell me that they can't blow my tires because someone canceled my order. I clarified when exactly the order was canceled, I was told that 5 minutes ago, but at that time I was already in your service center, but the employee of the service center did not care. Order canceled, waiting for refund, can't install tires. I took the day off to come on the appointed day, and I was informed that the order was canceled, but in the Costo app and on their website in my personal cabinet there was no information about the order cancellation. In the end I was offered to pay for the tires again only in this case they will install them on the day I have an appointment. I agreed. But after paying, it turned out that the second time I paid more than when I paid through the online store, but none of the employees warned me about this. I was outraged. I went back to the cashier and asked to sort this situation out, I do not intend to pay more than it costs, the fact that they cancelled the order does not mean that I should spend more money. Once they returned the cost to me, and I had to wait about two weeks for the return of the previously paid amount.

Never had bad service at Mt Prospect tire center. It’s best to have an appointment and they finish in a timely manner. Just recently we had rotation and one tire had a nail, they finished before we finished shopping in the store. A guy was ahead of me as a walk in and was quoted 2 hr wait time. I have seen this if not longer for someone who didn’t have an appointment at another big tire shop. These guys have always been polite. One time I was lucky when I had a nail in our tire, they were able to get me in before they closed….

Waiting about 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front counter. Once someone working did come by they went right past us ignoring us. We called the store number then someone appeared. Needed our tires changed ASAP and when we called to see if our appointment was square they said it was good. We arrived and were turned away because the tires even though we were told were in stock didn't process because new tires needed to be shipped and in stock I'm guessing for the next customer. This was extremely inconvenient. The Price was very high for a service that could not be fully complete here.

Shocked by other not so awesome reviews as Dennis C. runs a stellar customer service team! I will be forever grateful for his professionalism and customer obsessed communication for my matter. Based on this experience alone, I'm a Costco member for life, especially at this location!

My tire popped and the sidewall was an issue, so I had to get a new tire. My local Costco didn't have my tire (it was covered under warranty), but they said the one in Mount Prospect does. That's a 30 minute drive for me, on a spare.I called them ahead of time and asked, "If I get there in about 30 minutes, will you be able to take my car, and finish before you close?". They said yes, no problem. So I drive my car, riding on a spare, 30 minutes to get there.I go to the tire counter, and explain the situation. This man looks me dead in the eyes and tells me I should have had an appointment, and that they can't take me now. I told him I called ahead, and he shows me a list of the cars they have to go through (which means nothing to me, he could've shown me a list of birds found in Nevada for all I cared). I had to drive 30 minutes back, and I am now waiting for the Costco near me to get the tires delivered to them, where I am sure the process will just go completely smoothly without any hiccups at all. I'm sure.Highly recommend going to Discount tires instead of this place

Worst Costco EVER!!! Line at Membership desk is all the way out the door, yet Dennis is casually behind the desk making small talk & sipping a Celsius. Finally my turn Vlad is assisting me & here comes Dennis, Celsius in hand to interrupt Dennis with something that definitely could've waited until Dennis finished with me the CUSTOMER. Vlad clearly can't multitask because he completely stopped assisting me to pay attention to Dennis. The only good thing about this experience was Johnny in electronics, & a nice customer in the lot who offered me the spot he'd been waiting on. Won't be returning to this location.

just walk in for tire rotation. staff said ' max 2 hours' wait 3 hours they not even started. ask for another hour. please do not walk in there. and please do not take walk in at all.
