  Overcharged for a new tire, I was replacing the front left side which had odd damage and wasn't old. Previously bought from a discount tire. They put the oldest tire from the back on the front of a front wheel drive car. I know I explained to them not to do that as a location in Schaumburg put a spare on the back and moved the oldest to the front. I explained I want the old one put back and the front with new tires. Now my car is pulling to one side and when my husband called to inquire why they did that they talked over him and insisted its an internal issue. Which is funny because I had the car inspected the same morning. They only gave me a 30 dollar credit on my old tire which was likely defective. They've lost not only my buissness but my husband's as well.

  Terrible experience and service. . . Beware!
  
  The brand name tires I purchased from their online website wore out almost completely bald within only 1 year.
  
  Came to replace them and they insistently blamed my wheel alignment even though my car was professionally aligned and repaired before buying the tires. They made this assessment just by glancing at my tires with no inspection or even raising my car.
  
  I called my family to pick me up while my tires were being installed and their delivery driver blocked us in and was missing from the van and nowhere to be found.
  
  Then their employee started directing us to squeeze out of the parking spot and then suddenly the delivery driver backed into our car without looking!
  
  Instead of telling the truth and taking responsibility the driver lied to the police that we drove behind him while he was reversing. The service employee that was guiding us also gave the police officer incorrect information on the witness report.
  
  I will never come back and strongly recommend against buying from Discount Tire.

  I made an appointment two weeks ago. I took my car at the appointment time, they made me wait for 45 in the store then I received a text telling me my appointment was canceled while I was there. No one came to explain anything. Terrible service, will not go back or recommend anyone to go there. Went to Just Tires, two blocks down, no wait and better service.

  I had my first experience with Discount Tire!
  I bought 4 new michelin tires and walked in exactly on my appointment. I was there on the time and I was waiting for an hour to take my car on the bay for tires replacement.
  After a hour, when I asked “why my car still it is not on the bey?”, advisor answered with some angry “it takes about two hours for replacement-I told you that”.
  Anyway, after replacement they left all of my wheels filthy from some oil and didn’t clean the tires. On top of that, they put 3 tires with same DOT and one of them with almost a year difference.
  That is the reason why can not leave more then 3* review on this job.
  I hope in the future that they can do better than this, if they pretend to be on top with this job.

  Recently had my first experience with Discount Tire! I bought four Pirelli tires and walked in without an appointment. While checking in, I asked the cashier if they did alignments and ensured everything was correct with the tires. He explained that they only install and balance the tires to zero. I said, “Okay,” dropped off my keys, and left.
  
  When I returned to pick up the car, I inspected the tires and found no issue with three of them. However, I noticed that while three tires were made in the same year and month, one was from a year earlier. I’m not sure how things typically work in the tire industry, but I would prefer all four tires to be from the same production period.
  
  Also I wish discount tire give more info about the installation.
  
  All and all I give this service 3/5 stars

  Convenient location and friendly staff, but expect to wait about an hour even if you book an appointment on-line.

  Very Dissatisfied Customer
  Came into the shop and spent $1,750 on four new higher end tires and the insurance package. When they pulled my tires off they said the corrosion and build up was so bad, that I needed a brand new set of rims for all four tires. They informed me that the cost to get it “re-chromed” would be equal to a new set of rims, so then he began to show me a set of new rims to push me into. Not really believing that the shelf life on Escalade wheels are 4 years, I drive a 2020, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to my local mom and pop tire shop and they cleaned them, resealed them and got me up and running in literally 20 minutes. After dealing with leaky tires for 2.5 weeks trying to figure out my next move. They brought me in back and informed me that Discount Tire didn’t even attempt to clean the wheel. Livid isn’t the right word. To try and con a long time, sticker price paying customer, right before Christmas, while his kids are with him, in an economy that has made it incredibly tight for consumers, into $2,000+ in unnecessary rims, is unbelievable to me. Lost my business from here on out…

  Fast service, friendly managers. 4 stars because they forgot to place 3 valve caps. I saw that only when I got back home.

  They don't answer phone calls. Called 10 times in 1 day. They let the phones just ring. This was because there service was not up to par and we needed something corrected. Rather then waste a trip we wanted to call to discuss the semantics of the situation.

  I been to this store more 5x purchase new tires never have issue like my last visit 2016 InFiniti QX80-Damaged my rims, they said they will open claim and never called me back. Store manager never could get hold either vacation or off.

  It's bad enough you can't get a decent appointment here - wait for 3 months. Then we you get there. You get ignored by a bunch of stuck up people who supposedly work here. If you don't like your job - QUIT. Other people are jobless searching for any type of work. Then they tell you to wait, and wait and wait. What's the purpose of an appointment if you don't keep it and spend half a day in this awful place. oh and by the way, DO NOT fall for their sales-pitch-tricks to upgrade for special tires on-sale or that warranty crap that you can't use. Would you really wait for 4 hours on a flat???

  Spent 1k on wheels and tires. Thats not why I give them 1 star. I bought black wheels and when my car was finished, I got it back with black weights on the passenger side wheels and silver weights on the drivers side wheels. I asked what that was about as the black weights made it much more estheticically pleasing and visually make sense, considering the wheels themselves are black. Why would you put two different colored weights??? My answer was it all depends what they have in stock. They offered to order black ones from another store and swap them for me because they needed to re-balance the tires anyway. I agreed and was happy, only to be let down a 2nd time. I get the car back, and all the sticky residue(beige in color) was left on the wheels as the weights needed to be placed in a different area. I asked if it was normal to give the car back to me that way and I was told yes, it was. I spent 1k for having to make 3 visits and get my wheels back with sticky residue? So now I have to scrub away with goo gone in hopes that it'll actually work? Very upset to spend that kind of money and receive that kind of work.

  I never give reviews, but now:
  
  they are liars. they saw the hole from the nail and said that if there is no internal damage to the tire, they will fix it. after 20 minutes they told me they couldn't fix it and gave me the tire separated from the ring. just to sell you a tire they blatantly lie. tragic attitude running away from this discount tire.

  Had a leak in a tire, wasnt sure if there was a patchable hole or not. Took our vehicle here and after 2 hours they told us it was a slow leak with the valve stem and they replaced it. The leak continued, we took it to another tire shop that found 2 nails in the tire, how was a "Reputable" tire shop this is missed Im not sure. I think they just wanted to get out of there for the weekend. Would not take my vehicle back to this location.
