I’ve been bringing my car to German Auto Repair for a few years now for the A and B services and if bulbs go out and they are always friendly and deliver what they promise in the time they promise. The pricing is very fair. They are my go to for my Benz.

Had water dripping into the my cars interior and rain forecasted overnight. I don't have a garage. Tried calling 2 dealers but no answer. Called German Auto Repair about an 1 hour before they closed. Explained my problem and asked if they were able to put the car inside overnight and they said yes. Dropped the car off before they closed, explained the problem in more detail with photos. They gave me an expected quote and projected maximum depending on what was found. Had the car back the next day, and under the max estimate. Caring, informative and they listened to my concerns. Thank You.

I’ve had a great experience! Oil change was quick and when an issue arose in my vehicle, everything was explained to me thoroughly. I trust this shop with my vehicle.

I took my car here under advice of someone who had been here before and also from the reviews. Ladies beware, if you decide to go here please please make sure you take a man or a mechanic that knows cars well. I took my car here for one issue and was told it was the turbos ,come to find out after several trips later that the entire time it might just be the fuel pump. Mind you the initial error message that I was having has still come back when this is what they told me was the turbos. Are there any honest people in this world. Why are women preyed upon. At first it was the turbos then it was the radiator which was fine before I took there then same error returned. These guys not only took my money, but they didn’t even fix the problem. Ladies becarful please please. 🙏🏾
I just wanted to add that after them fixing the supposedly fixing my turbo they turned around and said that my radiator was busted. They claimed to have fixed that too [with warranty] and after having to bring it right back after picking it up. Now after 4-5 months guess what’s leaking and from a cracked radiator hose. This place was a huge disaster.

I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with German Auto Repair, LLC at 2088 Elmhurst Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056, to caution others about the potential risks when dealing with this shop.
The most alarming aspect of my experience was the danger their negligence posed to my family. I specifically asked them to confirm that everything had been thoroughly tested, as I had a night drive planned with elderly family members and children. They assured me the vehicle was in good condition. However, when I decided to test the car myself by driving 20 miles, the original issues immediately reappeared. Had I trusted their word and gone on the night drive, my family and I could have been in a potentially hazardous situation. When I checked with them about the lack of proper testing, Sam admitted they rushed the car out to me to secure the payment from the warranty company before the month-end putting my family’s safety at risk for financial gain.
Furthermore, I was pressured to pick up the car by 6 PM on the same day(despite their business hours being until 6:30 PM) and was told I would face additional charges and delays in retrieving my vehicle if I did not arrive by that time. This unprofessional behavior added unnecessary stress to the situation, and I had to rush there before 6pm.
Now, I am being asked to file a new claim and pay another deductible, even though I already paid extra for the parts, besides my deductible, and the original repair didn’t resolve the issues I initially reported. I have decided to take my vehicle to a different facility for further repairs.
The car was at their facility from August 15th to 27th. If the car was indeed tested properly, as Sam claims, it is concerning that both of the original issues I reported, an oil leak and a suspension malfunction reappeared within just 20 miles of driving after leaving his shop. This suggests that the repairs were not resolved as communicated..
For anyone considering this shop, I strongly advise caution, particularly when it comes to safety-related repairs.

I recently had my car serviced at German Auto Repair, LLC and couldn't be happier with the experience. I went in for a brake inspection and oil change. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The technicians quickly diagnosed the issue with my brakes and explained the necessary repairs in a way that was easy to understand. The work was done faster than I expected, and the pricing was very reasonable.
Overall, the service was top-notch, and my car runs perfectly now. I highly recommend German Auto Repair, LLC for their professionalism, speed, and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be coming back for any future repairs!
