“Really wonderful store! Mike was super informative and helped me get excited about Warhammer. I am new to everything and he helped me jump right in. Thank you for this new hobby!”
“Have been there twice bringing in coins and jewelry along with my elderly mother. Marc took care of us and I highly recommend him and his staff. Trustworthy, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful!”
“I've been coming here for almost a decade. Originally as a board game collector but more recently as a Warhammer player. Excellent store for many different kinds of games and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also a great spot for Magic the Gathering and other card games.
My go to gaming store for a long time!”
“Amazing place! Our 12 year old son has been shopping there since he was 7. The selection is truly great, and they are willing to work with different options for a collector who doesn't have vast amounts of money to spend on every stop. Lucas, John and the rest of the team have created a warm atmosphere and allow him to shop at his own pace. Truly worth the drive from Milwaukee. Thanks!!”
“This place has just about everything to cover any art project or passion you may have. My wife was there to look at clay and glazes for her pottery hobby. The staff was knowledgeable and what they didn't know for sure, they helped us look it up. We will be back!!”
“Even though I don’t do needlepoint, I love going to Emily’s Stitchery. I do embroidery and love their threads and notions. How lucky we are to have such a lovely store in our area.”
“These guys are the only place I will do business with. Very helpful and kind, incredibly responsive - every person I’ve worked with. 12/10 would recommend”
“I love this shop with its great selection of trains, models, and toys.
The staff are particularly knowledgeable about plastic model kits, tools, and supplies.
America's Best is one of my favorite Chicago area shops.”
“Large store of new snd used HO, O and N scale trains as well as models kits of all kinds. Huge wall of detail parts may have what you need if you come ready to dig and look”

“I used to live nearby & spent many hours in this store. The owners are wonderful! I bought so many collector Barbie’s & a few Gene dolls. I met the designer of the gene doll, Mel Odom at an event at the store, got his autograph. It was such fun! I plan on passing all those Barbie’s down to my 2 granddaughters (ages 16 & 18) when they get a bit older. They have picked which ones they want. I live in cali now & miss shopping at gigis dolls. It’s a great place to shop & I highly recommend it! Wish I lived closer so I could go say hello & get some more dolls! If you love dolls you have to check out their store, you’ll be in heaven!”
“Good shop, fair prices, and one of the most knowledgeable dudes I’ve ever met. Ron is one of the coolest dudes I’ve ever met at a card shop. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!”
“Very happy with the customer service. My daughter and I were there today and they were very patient showing her all the different silver bars and rounds for her to make her first purchase. Wish I knew about this shop earlier vs others in the area. 10/10 will be back”
“I’ve been here a couple times now and the same 2 employees I see are very nice and really helpful and gave me lots of recommendations and helped me out every chance they got”
“I stopped in Michael's this evening to get some supplies for a Halloween party. The woman who helped me at the register was the one of the KINDEST HUMANBEINGS I HAVE MET. She had a goofy sense of humor, was incredibly helpful, and truly MADE MY DAY. I hope she reads this, thank you for being you, I hope the Boston Orioles have fantastic season next year!”
“We picked up a Pokémon Center 151 ETB and a Crown Zenith ETB from this shop and had a great experience. I actually called right after they had closed the day before, and he still answered and kindly asked me to call back the next day. When we came in, he was super friendly, easy to work with, and gave us a great deal on both ETBs.
We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Bergie! We were finally able to add the missing ETB to our personal collection. My cousin shops here for sports cards and has always said he gets great deals, and now I can see why.”
“great place to buy toys reminds me of old kb toys from back in the 90's and 2000's i bought a plush bulldog and a plush basset hound and some 1/24th scale diecasts from b zone toys”
“Rodger has all the best slot care parts and accessories in the country. His four slot car tracks are clean and fun to race on. Computerized lap counters are great for competitive racing. Young or old it is so much fun!!!”
“Stock a little low but totally understandable given current market craziness. Prices actually very reasonable. Will definitely be returning when things cool off to start stacking again.”
“Fantastic selection of reserve list mtg cards! The employees were super helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. Prices were really reasonable and they even do trades and collection buy outs. Very happy I came by and I ended up finding my grail which was amazing!”
“Michael's is the place to go for balloons and other party favorites. Very reasonable and you will be greeted with a smile. Im recommended Michael's to everyone I know!!!”
“I was at the store on Monday, 8/10. At checkout, I was greeted by Timothy and Jack, both so pleasant. Upon returning to my car, I realized I did not have my keys. I returned to the store about four times, trying to retrace my steps. I wanted to cry like a baby!!
Long story short, Timothy offered to help me search, and I’m not kidding...the first place he looked, HE FOUND MY KEYS!! I was (and am!) so happy. It had been a crazy several days leading up to that moment.
Thank you, Michaels, for hiring great staff, and thank you, Timothy, for being so thoughtful and kind.”
“I wonder if there’s anything different between Hobby Lobby and Michael’s art store. They seemed to sell similar things. 10 days before Christmas and Hobby Lobby is already having 60% off Christmas stuffs?
Maybe Hobby Lobby is a hair cheaper but also the interior is slightly darker and can use a remodeling.”
“Used to come so much as a kid still surprised this Gem is still standing, I really don’t go no more since my games are downloads now and I can’t get hard copy’s to my GameStop informer magazines but I’m glad they are still standing”

“Incredible shop, something for every level collector. You will not leave empty handed. The clerk it knowledgeable and willing to advise if needed. If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”
“Needed inexpensive multiple frames (2 11x14 per package) always got them at Michael's. Went to Vernon Hills store they had no multi package frames and also no precut mat frames. And told me to go on line. Kildeer store had exactly what I wanted and were very helpful.
Also checking out young man did my quick check out for me.”
“I had a fantastic experience at Michaels while trying to frame two old prints.
Kim was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived, and Jamesey (I apologize if I’m misspelling the name) in the framing department was outstanding. I had a lot of questions and was having a difficult time choosing frames that would work with the artwork. Rather than rushing me, they both spent a tremendous amount of time helping me compare options, offering thoughtful advice, and sharing their expertise.
What impressed me most was that they treated my project as though it were important to them. Jamesey’s framing knowledge was invaluable, and both of them were patient, generous with their time, and genuinely committed to helping me make the right decision. They even helped me find a coupon, which was greatly appreciated.
Customer service like this is rare. Thank you both for making what could have been a frustrating process enjoyable.”

“The finest place with the finest things! Grails from the 90s to white hot new releases. Excellent LGS! Huge selection of unique minis and paints. They’ll have anything you need to get your next project done. Excellent game space with very high quality one of a kind terrain to play with. Many large high top tables and private rooms. Cool customer loyalty program that has been going for 15+ years. A true gem! Thank you! PS- The staff is awesome and receptive to checking stock within reason, don’t be one star guy who didn’t get his Pokemon that one time ?
