had a terrible experience with the people who work at this Mount Prospect store. They're so-called customer. Experience manager is rude and condescending. - James McNulty. I went to buy a gift card with a check, which says online you can use a check, but they denied my check, I had several thousand dollars in my account so it wasn't a matter of money. I have no idea and all this guy kept saying to me was using an ATM card which I don't choose to use and if your company says you can use a check you should be able to use Check. He was very condescending and unhelpful. Home Depot you can buy things at if you don't need help . When you need help their customer service people are horrible.

Get the same jackass asking me every time I'm in here "do you own a house?" because he's trying to pitch solar panels if I do. None of your fkn business if I own a house. Corporate Home Depot should really look into trying to piss off their clientele a little less with this nonsense especially coming from people that spend thousands there each year. I can't wait to be approached by someone soliciting this bs as I'm in the store said nobody. Enjoy the 1 star HD.

Just want to say thank you for making this an easy decision. Your biggest competitor has live cashiers. I wont be back

Seems like they have everything every time I need it. Customer service was good as well better than Lowes by far

Incredibly rude staff in the equipment rentals. Paver saw broke down a couple hours of use. I took it back that day and the worker was very disrespectful. Charged me for a saw that didn't work without providing me with one that worked. I ended up renting a better saw at Thompson's Rental Center (highly recommended).Brought this to the attention of corporate. Management called me back but was too concerned about the vacation he was about to take instead of listening to the customer's needs and making this right.Lost my patrinoage of 30+ years. Shopping at Menards from now on.

I went to this particular Home Depot because the one in Des Plaines on Thacker was a disaster on two separate vists. After taking my business to the Randhurst store, "disaster" seems to be company policy.I had to replace a vertical blinds head rail and gave them the exact measurement of the rod itself. I was told I could expect delivery within two weeks after ordering. What was thought to be a simple two-party transaction turned into 5-party screw-up.1) The rail was shipment delayed twice by the discretion of the shipper. No notice was given for the delay.2) The rail was ordered in white. No one ordered silver. This will be it for me and Home Depot. Perhaps Menards or Lowes, or even a privately owned window covering company may be interested in any future business.

I was picking up an online order in the morning and associate Maria was fantastic. It appeared my order was processed but not out together but she fixed it in minutes.

I ordered vinyl plank flooring for my living room in the beginning of October, it was delivered one week prior to the installation. When the installers came, they said they needed an additional $4000 to level my floor! I told them to take their tools and leave! Now I have a new installer and when we opened the box, we realized that they did not include the quarter round that I paid for. Now the installer had to go get more! Cannot get a response from Home Depot regarding a refund! Very disappointed to say the least!

Not used to this layout but eventually I found everything I needed. For corporate: stop treating your contractor clients like a redheaded step child or a thief. We sometimes have items to return past policy date. Denying returns over $25 hurts us financially, and if it is still something you carry in stock there shouldn't be an issue with a return of a sealed item. Lowes has no issue with it and gives their manager a final say.Sending your clients to your loss prevention provider website after a denied return is pointless and without recourse for the client.

I called the store on an error they did by charging my account and I got transferred and hung up on. I then called again and they had me on hold for 7 minutes then said the managers are in a meting and hung up on me. I called back to see if someone could help ke figure out there error and the guy that answered said I don't know when they are done and hung up. Yeah, sucks that I am trying to figure out there error and that's how we get treated
